Are You Having A Pity Party?

Are you stuck in a place of having a pity party?   Pity is defined as the feeling of sorrow or compassion caused by suffering.   Are you having a party for yourself by yourself based on what you are going through?    Did God not say that "He" would turn your sorrow into joy?   A party is normally a celebration.  Stop celebrating what doesn't feel good.  If you are going to celebrate ... celebrate because you know what God is about to do.   Celebrate His goodness.  Celebrate His grace.  Celebrate His love.  Celebrate His protection.   Celebrate His favor.   But it is time to stop celebrating your emotions when they are not in line with God's word.
