The Guards Have Been Changed.....Are You On Guard?

How can God do so much for you and you still just do anything?   Touch anything....look at anything.....act like anything.....

It's time for an exchange.   It's time to change guards.   It's time to move into a position of protection.   Where you protect what has been entrusted to you.   The anointing and the call upon your life. 

 The purpose of a guard is to provide protection and security.    Protection.....to prevent from suffering harm or injury.   Security......denotes that something has a threat of being harmed or is in danger.  When you have security, you are free from harm and danger.    You have comfort in knowing that you are surrounded.    

During the ceremony in London of the changing of the guards, one of the things that are exchanged is the keys to the palace.   We have to understand that these guards are men that have served in war and now their duty or should I say "their honor" is to guard the focal point of London.   

What do you see as your job?   You've been in war and Jesus has handed you the keys.   What are you guarding?   The Bible says to guard your heart (the central and focal point of the body) for out of it (the heart) flows the issues of life.   

An exchange has taken place.   An exchange of life for death.    The keys to protect what comes in and around your life are now in your hands.   The awesome privilege of protecting what is holy is an honor you have been given.  How you carry out and fulfill this duty (that which you have been called to do) is up to you.

What Are You Willing To Die For?

What kind of love is this that a man would lay down His life?   What kind of love does it take for us to die for what we believe?   Have you ever thought about how the disciples died?   Those that was closest to the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.....how they died.   They not only experienced the death of Christ, they experienced the burial and the resurrection of Christ.   They experienced the greatest love that has ever and will ever take place on the earth.  

It is believed that almost every disciple of Jesus died a horrible and cruel death.   Some were crucified, some were beheaded.    All because they refused to deny Christ.    Their refusal to deny was not at the point of the cross (when Jesus was being scorned and crucified).   It was however, after the resurrection.   After the point of death.   After that point....after that experience....their faith became unshakable.   Undeniable.  

What would it take for your faith to be unshakable and undeniable?   Hasn't the price already been paid.   When you believe a thing, you live your life according to what  you believe.   Do we need to ask God to help our unbelief?   God is not asking us to die physically for what we believe.   He does. however, want us to die spiritually.    Die to our will, our purpose, and our plan.   When we die spiritually, it is no longer us that lives but Christ that lives within us.    To be a living sacrifice for Him.  For He was the death sacrifice for us.      

Think on this today.....what is it that the disciples experienced that caused them to live an unshakable life and to have an undeniable faith?   To die for what they believed.    Christ laid down His life for all of us.   Not just the disciples.    Not only His physical life, but his deity.   His divine status....His nature.   He did this all so that we could live.....or should I say ..... so that He could live through us.   But in order for His life to be seen through us, we must die.  Lay down our nature (our inherent character) so that the only life that is seen through us is the life of Christ.

Who Are You To Be Intimidated? You Have POWER and AUTHORITY!

Who are you to be intimidated?   To be intimidated is to be filled with fear or to be made timid.    When you are timid, you lack self confidence and you become hesitant.   Hesitant to launch out.   To walk out the plans and purposes of God.  

If God is our confidence, how can we become timid?   If our trust and our hope is in Him....the God who not only will not fail us.....He can not fail us.....how can we be timid?   Faith "does not" fail.   Faith "can not" fail.   Fear fails.   Intimidation fails.   Timidity fails.   But FAITH cannot fail.  

We have residing on the inside of us the power to overcome every situation and every circumstance.   Everything that is encircling us and/or standing in our way.   Because GREATER is He that is on the inside of us than ANYTHING that can EVER come up against us.   

So when I ask where is your BOLDNESS.....I am asking where is your FAITH?   Are you drawing on the power within or dwelling in the situation or circumstance?  Understand that peace comes from within.   If you have peace on the inside, it doesn't matter what is happening on the outside.   PEACE POSITIONS YOU FOR REST.  

Intimidation, fear,  timidity.....have no place in PEACE.   Peace says you know God and that He doesn't change.   Peace knows that EVERYTHING is under subjection to the word of the Lord.   Peace says speak and it shall be.   Peace carries within it boldness and authority because you know the author and the finisher of all things is God and everything......EVERYTHING.....is subject to His power and authority.

.....and that POWER and AUTHORITY.....He has given to you as His ambassador on the earth.  He has given you dominion and that means everything is subject to what you say.

God's Desire Is That You Be A River.....

God's desire is that you be as a river.   That you allow the living waters of His love to flow through you.   The book of Ezekiel talks about the river that flows from the threshold of the temple and everything that the waters touched became fresh and healed.   

God want us to be like that river.   To allow Him to flow freely through us.    So that everything and everyone we touch, can be healed.   Healed by His love, by His revelation, by His power.   

Ezekiel 47 talks about how the water started out being ankle deep, then knee deep, then it covered the loins, and soon it could not be passed over.   The water had "filled up its destination"......it had overtaken to the point that it touched the banks and everything that was on the banks became fresh and alive again.   Even the dead sea became fresh again.

That's God's desire for us.   He wants us to become so full of Him and His word that everything and everyone we come in contact with becomes revived again.   He doesn't want us to be knee deep, ankle deep, or even loin deep Christians.   He wants us to have an anointing that flows from the inside out.   That comes from within and affects the surface and everything around us.   

Will you allow the river of God's love, revelation, and power to flow through you?   Will you stop being afraid to step into the deep?   To be overtaken by who God is so that He can freely flow through you to bring healing to someone else.  

Power flows from the threshold of God.  Threshold means the point of the beginning.   Let the power flow from God through you to everything around you,

Do You Know What It Means To Worship?

In order to truly worship, you must know what it means to worship.   The Bible tells us in order to worship God, we must worship God in spirit and in truth.   This tells me that worship is not carnal.   It can't be derived by your mind.   Just something that you think up and then do.   Worship comes from within.   It is an expression of your love and your reverence to God.   A love that comes from the inside out.   It permeates who you are and whose you are.    It's not momentary.   It's real.    It's a part of who you are and it expresses whose you choose to be.  

The word worship comes from the old English word WORTHship.    It express the worth or should I say value that you put on someone or something.   This tells me that you can worship many things.   In the book of Acts, there was an alter that was inscribed "to the unknown God".  This show us that our worship can be misguided or misdirected.  

Let nothing in your life carry more weight or value than your relationship with God.   Let your reverence be to Him and Him alone.  Know that He is the one who carries you and who sacrificed for you.   Know that the love the Father has for you is greater than any love you have or will ever experience in your life.

Have You Ever Experienced God?

".....If you have ever experienced God.....then you know that God's word works".    Place your faith in the word of God.   Place your stand in the knowledge that you have.   If for no other reason, place your faith in the fact that you know that God's word works because of your previous experience with Him.

Question Yourself.......Do You Know The Answer?

Why do you do the things you do?   Why do you serve God?   Why do you love God?   Is it because of what He can do for you.   Or is it because of what He has already done for you?    What is your motivation in serving Him?

Motivation......the thing that causes  you to do what you do.   To act the way you act.   To talk the way you talk.    Do you do it just because?   Because of what?  

Why do you call Him Father, Savior, and King?    What does the blood mean to you?   What value do you put on the sacrifice that was made for your sins?   

Do you acknowledge Him?  Do you serve him?   Do you lay down your wants and your desires to pick up His purpose and His plan?   

What persuades you to step out of His will?   Do you really trust Him?   Really?????     What is your faith based on?    How far will you go to follow Jesus?   

Who are you?   Who is it that God created you to be?   What's your motivation?

How real is He to you?   Is He real enough to sacrifice your life?   Your way of doing things.
To make an exchange.   To exchange your sins for His mercy and forgiveness.

Are you excited about the God you serve?   Are you living under the blood?
Under the covenant of God.   The blood is part of the covenant.   The promise that God made for you.

Are you reminiscing about what Jesus accomplished on the cross today?   Are you willing to die for Him today?   To lay down your way, your walk, you will for God's way, His walk, and His will?    A total exchange. 

Jesus gave it all.   He gave His life.  What will you give in exchange?   What value do you put on what God did just for you?   Do you realize the price that was paid?   The price was life.     Are you willing to pay the same in order to walk under the blood and in the promises of God?  

The price of your life.....a living sacrifice....that will show the world that God is real.   God loves you more than you can ever imagine.   He loved you so much that He gave Himself for you.   All He desires in return is for you to give yourself for Him. 

Celebrate Jesus today.   Celebrate the love of the Father.   Celebrate the life of the Savior.   Celebrate the power of the Cross......

From The Words Of My Child......Nature vs Nurture

My daughter wrote a paper for college the other day that she wanted me to read over.   It's funny how we raise kids and teach them things and as they get older and even while they are young they teach us.   The paper was on nature vs. nurture.   Interesting analogy don't you think. 

Nature ......  The inherent character or basic constitution of a person or thing

Nurture ......  The caring for and encouraging the growth of someone or something: "the nurture of ethics and integrity".

We know these two words but we really don't stop to think about them and relate them to us or the word of God in our lives.  

We are all born with God's nature on the inside of us.   But do we nurture that nature?   Do we take time to read the word, meditate on it, or pray it out.   In other words do we encourage the word to grow and produce in our lives and the lives of those around us?   

God created this entire world so that every living thing in it would go through a growth process.   How these living things are nourished will determine their ability to grow and to live.   We have to remember that the word on the inside of us is alive.   It is God on the inside of us.   It is God's desire that He grow on the inside of us but it up to us to nurture the word.  

How BIG will you allow God to grow on the inside of you?   Will you allow Him to grow to the point that what is on the inside of you can no longer be contained within?  It will begin to reflect on the inside so that everyone can see how BIG your God really is?

Have You Checked In Your Baggage?

What is release?   What does it really mean to give something to God?   Are you still trying to control what you say you have released to God?   Are you still trying to figure it out or work it out?  

That's me.....
I sometimes think I have let situations or circumstances go   That I have put it in the hands of God and some how, some way, I end up worrying or getting frustrated about the "thing or things" I supposedly gave over to Him.   

Worry, frustration, dissension, strife are good indications that you are still carrying a burden that you were not created to bear.   That you have not really given it over to God or that you have picked it back up again.   That God is not really in control   When God is in control of a situation, you will have peace in every area.   Rest for your soul (your mind, will, and emotions).....instead of worry and doubt.  

When God is in control, you understand that everything in this physical realm is temporal and you don't live in the "moment" of temporary affliction.   Instead you step into the place of eternity with God.  You step into "the knowledge" of who God is and what God has said and you dwell there.  

I am not saying that it is easy to do.   I am saying that you have to keep your mind stayed on God.   On the fact that He is all sufficient and that He knows your needs.   That He knows everything that concerns you.   That He knows everything that frustrates you and causes you to lose heart and want to give up and quit.  

You have to understand that He knows where He has destined you to be.   For it is He who has predetermined your destination and it is He who wants to carry your load while you are getting there.   When you are trying to get from one destination to another (like in an airport) and you are carrying your own "baggage" it slows you down.   You need to check the baggage in (give it to God) so that you can get to where you are going without the worry and stress of carrying the extra load.   When you don't have the worry and stress of carrying the extra stuff.....you will get to your destination much faster.

Reflections....What Do I See When I See You?

Everything we do and everything we say is a reflection of our life and our lifestyle.    A reflection of our relationships and our beliefs.   Just as you can see yourself if you stand in the mirror....always remember that those around you can see you.   Not only can they see you, they can hear you.   

They see and hear your beliefs everyday.   Sometimes without you saying a word.   They see and hear your commitments everyday.   They watch to see if truth really lies within you.   They want to see if you really believe what you are saying.   They want to see if it's "real".  

Imagine you carried a mirror and a recorder everywhere you went.   Reflect means to "cast back" light, heat, or sound, etc. from a surface.    What would you hear and what  would you see in yourself?

What light are you casting back?   Is it the revelation of God?   For the word brings light.   What heat are you producing?   Is it the love of God?   To provide warmth and comfort for someone in distress.   What sound is coming out of you?   Is it the words and nature of God?   To provide insight to someone who is lost.

Stand in the mirror today and ask yourself.....what do people see when they see me.   What do people hear when they hear me?   What do people feel when they are around me?   If it's not God and God's love, then ask yourself what is it that you need to change.

Are You Passing On The Vision?

If you were to leave today (whether it be to relocate to another place or to go home to be with the Lord)....what would those around you do tomorrow?   What have they learned from you?   What vision have you imparted?   To your children, to your co-workers, to your family, to your friends.   What impact have you made on those around you to encourage and influence them to go in a "God Direction" for their lives?

David was anointed king over Israel.   God gave David the vision on how to build the temple of the Lord.   Although David made preparation to build the temple, he died before the temple was built.   But because he had imparted and was an influence to his son (Solomon)......Solomon was able to complete the work that his father had began.   What you have to understand is that the vision was given to the father.....but the work was completed by the son.    Sound familiar.   God had a vision for our lives and He allowed His son to complete the sacrifice that was needed in order for the vision to come to pass.

That's the pattern God wants us to follow.   He wants us to make an impact.   An impact is full of power.   It is noticeable.   It brings about change.....a difference.   An impact is necessary in case God changes the direction of our lives, or should I say, as God reveals the direction He has already designated for our lives.     Always remember that although God may give a vision to one person, there are others connected to that vision to help bring it to pass.

Don't take for granted your "Jabez Encounters" today.   There are no "me" moments in God.   Everything that you do and everything that you say will make an impact on someone.....even if it's yourself.   The question is are you laying out the pattern that God has given you before those around you so that they will be able to complete the work that God wants done in the earth?

What Or Who Persuades You?

How truly committed are you to the things of God?   If God tells you to do something .... how committed are you really?   Are you committed to do it....no matter what?   No matter what it requires of you.   If it requires you getting up when everyone else is sleep?   If it requires you sacrificing when you only have a little?   If it requires you shutting down the tv?   If it requires you giving up unhealthy relationships and friendships that bring about compromise in your life?   If it requires you to give?  

The thing about commitment is .... it takes you out of the norm.   Your way of doing things.   It puts you in a place of "requirement".   A place where something is necessary.   A place of obligation.   You have to go beyond your norm.   When you tell God that you are committed to Him, you will have to go beyond your norm and be completely obligated to Him.

Today is the day of salvation.   The day of "soteria".   The Greek word soteria means....deliverance, preservation, safety, and salvation.   God has delivered you.   He has preserved you.   He has made you safe.   What will you do for Him.   Will you be "totally committed" to His plan, His purpose, His life?   Are you willing to let go and let God?   Let Him be the driving force of everything you do, everything you say, and every relationship you have.  

When you are persuaded, you are moved based on the plea or belief of something or someone else.   Let your only persuasion come from God.

Be Used Today ... Make A "God Impact"

What all is God trying to do today?   What is it He wants to accomplish through you today?   We need to wake up with an expectancy of accomplishing something in Christ today.   There was not one day that Jesus walked the earth that He didn't impact someone else's life.   Whether it was through bringing about a healing, praying for someone, teaching or encouragement.    We have to get to that place.   The place where we live our lives in line with the life of Jesus.   The place where our sole determined purpose is to express and display Christ in the earth.   The place where we lay hands on the sick and the sick recover.   The place where we provide a word in due season and lives are changed.   The place where we speak the word and things around us line up with what we are saying.

You can never get to this place if you walk in fear.  If you walk in resistance.   Resistance to what God is telling you to do.   The word is instant and it requires instant obedience from you.   It requires that you obey God without second guessing what He is trying to do.   Fear is rooted in doubt.   It questions whether God can or will accomplish a thing.   God wants us to cast down fear.   In other words, to cast down all doubt.   He wants us to walk in faith.   Faith in what He is saying.   Our "immediate response" to the things that God tells us to do.....says we believe Him and that we believe He will do just what He says.   

In order to impact another persons life for Christ, you have to be sure in what and who you believe.   Your conviction in what you believe is what you impart to those around you.   To impart means to transmit or pass on.    We have to be sure that we are passing on faith and not fear and doubt.

Know that God wants to use you today to show someone His love, His faith, His healing, His truth, His trust, HIS LIFE.   Be a living epistle today.....a book open...to be read by all men.   Be a mirror today.....let God be reflected through you.   Be a witness today.....bring confirmation to someone else about who God is and what He wants to do in their lives.   Be a road map today.....to give someone direction on how to get to the place of trusting God.   Be a light today......to help shed light so that someone can get out of the dark places they are experiencing.   Be used today......for God's plan, God's purpose, and God's will.

Are You Completely Committed Or Do You Have Idols In Your Life?

God wants us completely committed.   Are you completely committed to the things of God?   Are you committed to the point that you can't be moved?   When the trials of life surround you.....are you still  committed or do you compromise?   

Have you ever thought that the trials of life only come to test what you "say" you are committed to?   The opportunities to lie, to cheat, to curse, to listen to the wrong thing, to compromise only comes to see if  you will still stand on what you "say" you believe.   Belief has to go further than what you are saying.   Total commitment is backed up by your actions.   What you do.

Opportunities will always come to test you.   There is always available opportunities for you to do the wrong thing.  Whether it be speaking wrong or acting wrong.  But we have to begin to align our actions with what God wants.   We have to make choices based on His word and His desire.

There is a harvest for everything we say and do.   Fruit will be produced.   Whether it be fruit of the flesh or fruit of the spirit.   We have to remember that the Word has already told us that any decision we make in the flesh will always lead to sexual impurity, idolatry (putting something else before God), hatred, discord (no peace), jealousy, selfishness, etc.   Whereas, the decisions we make based on "God's desire", the Spirit, will always lead to the fruits of the Spirit.....love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.  

Every decision that we make in life is based on our desires in life.   Ask yourself today what do you desire more?   Do you desire to be in God's presence more than you desire money, a new car, or the approval of man?   Everything is based on your love relationship with God.   Do you love God enough not to compromise your relationship with Him?   Remember, anything that leads you to the fruit of the flesh instead of the fruit of the spirit can be classified an idol in your life because you have allowed it to become before God and your love for Him.    ANYTHING THAT TAKES THE PLACE OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE IS AN IDOL.....

It's Time To Abide....

It's time to stop running from God.   It's time to abide.   Abide means to rest, to stay, to take up residence.   To take up residence in His word, in His plan, in His purpose for your life.   To not be moved.   No matter what it looks like.   To know that God is there and that you have shelter from the "elements of life" as long as you stay where He is.

So many times we run when things come against our life.   We run because we think we can avoid conflict, or avoid challenge.   It's okay to run if you are running to God.   The problem is, we tend to run from God.  From His plan, from His purpose, and from His safety.   We expose ourselves.   We get in a place where we give the enemy complete access.   Complete access to our soul.   Our mind, our will, and our emotions.  

It's tme to learn how to abide.   We have to do what the Word says.  God wants us to stand still and know that He is God.   To know that whatever is coming against our lives cannot overtake our lives.   To know that no power on earth is greater than who He is.    He wants us to dwell in His presence and know that there is safety in Him.

Don't Limit Your Prayer To What You Know....

There is so much that God wants to do in you and through you.  He wants to use you to fulfill His plan and His purpose on the earth.  But what are you praying for?   Are you praying for things or are you praying that God reveal His will to you?    Are you praying out His plan?   Not only the plan that He has for you ....but the plan that He has for the world.  

In many cases, we have no idea what God desires of us.   In what capacity or area that He wants to use us .   In order to totally fulfill God's purpose in the earth, we need to begin to change the way we pray.   Instead of directing our prayers to God for things that we can physically see or feel that we can change....we have to begin to pray to God for direction.   We have to begin to understand that prayer goes far beyond the "now".   It goes far beyond our physical senses....  PRAYER IS SPIRITUAL AND IT CHANGES THE PHYSICAL   Prayer carries within it the power to "touch the future" even in the present.   It has within it the power to "touch nations" even while you are in your house.    We have limited our prayers to what we can physically see and touch and God desires that we use it to change the world.   

God is all powerful.....it is only man that limits the power of God.....

Trusting God

Have you gotten to the place where you say......no matter what, I trust you God. Where you stop looking at how things appear and decide to just trust God. The place where your emotions become motionless. Where your feelings no longer dictate your actions. The place of total trust and total reliance on God. You know the times where you've done all you can do and now it's up to God. The place of total release from you preconceived notions and ideas. The place where you no longer make agendas and try to determine your own destiny. Have you arrived there yet....because that is the place that God is waiting and ready to meet you. The place of total surrender. The place where He can now lead and guide. Where He is the only one navigating the direction for your life. That's the place we all must go.

God's waiting....where are you?

Does God Want You To Change? What Are You Standing On?

Change is not about what you see.....it's about what you do.    Have you ever thought about what God wants you to change in your life?   Does He want you to change your surroundings?   Does He want you change your attitude?   Does He want you to change your friends?   Or does He just want you to change your outlook?

Your outlook is somewhat like your attitude....it is your point of view.   How you consider a thing.   Your standpoint.   We all take a stand....the question is what are we standing for?  More than that....what are you standing on?

Are you standing on God and His promises?   Or are you standing on shaky ground.   When your ground is shaky, there is no stability.   God wants us stable in our thoughts, in our beliefs, and in our walk with Him.   He wants us to have full assurance and reliance on Him and His word.    You can't take a stand if you don't understand God and His promises.

You must know the source of your faith in order to put full reliance in what you say you believe.   Complete trust and confidence says you are standing on "sure" ground.   Sure means unfailing....never disappointing.  And that's what God is....he will never fail you or disappoint you.  

It's time to look around....to look at the ground we are standing on.    Is it "sure" or is it like sinking sand?  Maybe you see cracks.   Little places where there is doubt or unbelief.   It time to "shore up" in the Word.   In other words, place your trust and belief on God and what He said.   If there is anything that is not lining up with the Word....then it should have no place in your life.   Fill the cracks of doubt and unbelief with trust and assurance of who God is.   Fill them with faith, patience, love, and joy.....knowing that God's word is true and if you stand on it ....IT SHALL COME TO PASS! 

We tend to resist change but sometimes God requires change in order for us to get to the next level without slipping, falling, or failing.

God Desires Pure Worship....

God wants our worship to be "pure".   The definition for pure is "not mixed or adulterated with any substance or material".   It also means without extraneous or unnecessary elements.   

It's funny how we seek purification in so many areas.   We want purified water, we want organic foods, we want a clean house, clean clothes, etc. but we don't see the necessity of purifying ourselves before God.   We overlook the process that the priests had to go through in order to go into the "Holy of Holies".   Into that holy place with God.  We overlook the "laver". 

It's true, God said come unto Him just as we are.    But once you enter into the presence of God....the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Great "I AM", some things should change.   Desires should change.  Hearts should change.   Once you come and dwell with royalty.....you should desire to be as "royalty".   You come into a place of eating what royalty eats and drinking what royalty drinks.   Your consumption should be that of royalty and not that of the world.

The problem is, we want to take the same things we consumed in the world into the presence of the God   Our attitudes, our actions, our limits.....how we think, what we listen to, and so on.   But God wants us to let go of the past....to let go of our way of doing things and live holy.   He desires that we live kingdom minded and not world initiated.  

When the world initiates something, the end result is usually sin in some form.   Whereas, if we live kingdom minded, our sole purpose and our sole desire will be to please God.   We won't just do anything, we won't just say anything, we won't just listen to anything.....and we won't just live like anything.    We will accept our status of royalty and live as children of the King.   At that point, our hearts will be clean and our worship will be pure.

I saw this video today on http://www.godsfaithbook.com/ and it really touched me.   So many times we get hurt by people.   It seems as though we have become desensitized in so many areas.   That's not God's desire for us.   He wants us to always walk in love......the problem is, getting past the hurt.    This song is my prayer for all of us.....

Let Someone Else Know....God Is Love....

There is only one explanation for why God does what He does.....and that's LOVE.   Love says I see beyond your faults.   It says I look past your inadequacies.   Love says I won't live on how you hurt me in the past.   It says I forgive you and I won't hold it against you.   Love says I don't expect you to always do for me, instead I will seek opportunities to do something for you.   Love says I understand. 

True love and the meaning of love can only be learned from God.   For "God is Love".   Learn from Him.  Learn the sacrifice of love.   Sacrifice means that you surrender.   You don't hold back when you truly love someone or something.   You give it all you got.  There are no opportunites for selfishness in love.   Love requires total surrender.

Let those around you see the love of God today through you.    People open up when they feel loved.  The only way a person can truly learn how to love is if they have truly felt loved.    Let God flow through you to someone today.

So What Now? What's Next?

So what are we going to do now?   Now that we have been taught.   Now that we are full.   Full of His word, Full of His Power, Full of His Passion.   What now???   Are we going to sit around and get fat.   Fat on His Word.   Or are we going to exercise in His presence?   Exercise by pouring out His word to others.   By releasing everything that we have taken in.  

Now is the time of release.   It's time to pour out and to give what you have been holding for yourself.   It's time to share what you have been given with someone who is lacking what you have.   The knowledge, the insight, the revelation.  

It's time to get up and give out....
Be a blessing to someone else today....share the "bread that you have from the Master's table".

You've Been Delivered....So Take A Stand!

Isn't it nice to know that you have been delivered.   Delivered from the hand of the enemy.  Not only delivered but set free.   Once you were delivered, you were set free.   Set free from everything that had control of your life.   Jesus not only brought you deliverance, He also brought you freedom.

So if you are delivered and set free....why walk in bondage?   Why walk in bondage to people, places or things?   If you were set free, why walk like you are still bound?   Freedom means you are not longer under the restraints of the enemy.   You are free to serve God with all that you are.   Yet when we walk as though we are ashamed of Him, it says we are still bound.   Bound by what others think or feel.   When we stand silent, we walk in fear of what others will say.

It's time we take a stand.   Take a stand for God.  It really doesn't matter what others think, feel, or have to say about your salvation.   Salvation is a gift to you from God.   Salvation is paid for.   It is defined as the act of saving from harm, risk, loss, or destruction.   When you understand exactly what it is....you will understand why it really doesn't matter what someone else has to say about. it.....Salvation in itself is your protection.

So remember today that you were brought with a price....that price was paid for in blood.   So with it comes a blood covenant of protection.    All God is asking in return is that we stand for Him.   So take a stand today and let someone know who God is in your life.

You Are Crowned

You are crowned.   You are crowned with the goodness and the majesty of God.   You are a royal priesthood, ordained by Him.   Your status goes far beyond what you can see in the natural.   The situations you face are in the natural, but your status is supernatural.   Your authority is not limited to what you can see or what you can hear.   You have the ability within you to cause "atmospheres" to change.   All that is stopping you .... is you.   Ability, power, might....they are all on the inside of you.   The Holy Spirit that lives on the inside of is ever revealing the things of God to you.   Once you understand what you have been crowned with and the authority you have been given.....nothing can stand in the way of you fulfilling God's purpose here on the earth.  

Covenant Exchange

God has made a binding agreement with us.....a promise that cannot be broken.   Have you ever got tired of people breaking promises....of things going wrong?   Well the thing about God is that He cannot lie.   He can't do anything wrong.   The Bible says that God is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent.   He never has to go back on His word.  If you don't receive anything else from this blog today, please grab hold of the "fact" that God cannot go back on His word.   It is not in Him to have to repent.   It is not in Him to lie.   So what He said in His word and what He has said about you....IS TRUE.

Now the biggest thing that we must understand is that the covenant is an exchange.   There are things that we must do in order to receive God's promises.    We must "honor" Him, we must "obey" Him, and we must "trust" Him.   Unlike many agreements that we have bound ourselves to, God has incorporated two provisions in His covenant that will keep the agreement from being nullified if we fail to meet up to the standards.   Those provisions are "grace" and "mercy".  

God's desire is that you see the end result of His promises.   He desires that you walk in health.   That you walk in wealth.   That you walk in the confidence of knowing who He is in you, to you, and through you.  

God's plan for your life goes far beyond your ideas or your qualifications.    His plan has to be revealed to you by Him.    As He told Jeremiah in the Bible, so it is for us.   He knows the plans that He has for us.  Plans of good and not evil.   Plans to give us a hope and a future.   In other words, the plan that He has will produce inside of us not only an "expectancy" but it will also take us into our "expected end".   \\

Trust the word in your life today.   Know the covenant promises of God.   Know the "exchange"....what you must do in order to receive the promises of the covenant.

What God Can Do In A Moment

In a moment God can move mountains.   In a moment God can open blind eyes.   In a moment God can open up oceans.   In a moment God can remove everything that is coming against your life.   In a moment.
What is your moment today?   What do you need God to do for you today?  

One moment in the presence of God can change your whole life.....

Take time to stop, look, and listen today.   Stand still in His presence.   Look at who God is.   He said "I am THAT" I am.   In other words, He is "that healing" you need.   He is "that job" you need.   He is "that joy" that you are lacking.    And after you have stood still in His presence, and recognized who He is, then listen.   Find out the direction that He has already mapped out for your life.   The road has already been paved and there is no need to try to find a shortcut or path that has never been traveled.  
Sometimes when you try to take a shortcut, you come back on the same road just to find out you are right back where you started.

God In This Moment

God Knows

God knows every fear.   God knows every fault.   God knows when you are happy and God knows when you are sad.   God knows what is good for you.   God knows what will make you sick.  God knows you better than you know yourself.

God loves you when you are afraid.   God loves you when you do something wrong.   God loves you when you express joy to Him.   He also loves you when you don't know which way to turn.    Because God knows what is good for you, He is able to make His grace abound towards you.   Because He knows the things that are meant to harm you, God has given His angels charge over you to keep you.   Because God knows you better than you know yourself, He is able to take good care of you.

So relax....no matter what the situation is....remember...."God Knows". 

The Purpose

There is a purpose behind everything.   Haven't you ever heard the saying .... "if you don't know the purpose of a thing, you will abuse it".   So my question to you today is ... Do you know your purpose or are you abusing God's grace and mercy?  

Abuse can mean "excessive use".  Meaning are you going beyond the normal, reasonable, or proper use of God's grace?   Or is your lifestyle one in which you are trying to live holy and trying to live right?  You have to understand that there is a difference between grace and faith.

A lot of times we do things and we know that they are wrong when we do them.   We tend to assume God's forgiveness before we even do it.   That's not God's desire.   It is not His desire that we have knowledge and understanding and yet we never use it.  

We have to know that the difference between grace and faith.   Faith says that I am taking a stand.  It says that I will not be moved.    I won't be shifted to compromise that which I believe.   We tend to look at grace with more leniency.  We tend to look at grace and say....even if I do this, God will forgive me.   We say that "God knows my weaknesses" or "I'll do better next time".    The problem is, in many cases, we don't even try to do the right thing, because we know we are already forgiven.  

Our sole purpose is to magnify God.   In magnifying God, we are to cause Him to become enlarged in someone else's eyes.   Someone else is watching everything we do.    Whether it be the right thing or the wrong thing, we are always "magnifying something".    As a matter of fact, we are always magnifying "destiny".   One definition of destiny is "the power that will determine the course of events".  

We have to choose if we want to magnify "God's Faith" or "God's Grace And Mercy".   People do need to know both.   They need to know that God forgives.   But you have to remember.....everything is still left up to the interpretation.  Although you know you are walking under grace and mercy,  how are those around you interpreting your behavior?

God Is Everything

Everything that God is, He is in you.    Everything you are.....you are in God.   Not only is God everything.... He has given everything for you.   

Think about it....if He is everything....that means He gave all that He is for you!

Know God "Within"

God said that He would never leave you nor forsake you.   He said that He is always with you.   God is not only external....but He is internal, not to mention He is eternal.   You have to know God within.   The Holy Spirit that lives on the inside of you.  The Spirit that is within you, within your situations, and within your circumstances.   Within means the interior or inner parts of a thing.   God wants to be "within" everything that concerns you.

The funny thing is, we tend to want to leave Him on the outside.   We even "create" barriers in order to try to keep God out.   A barrier is anything that obstructs or impedes someone or something.   We live in a way that we keep God's Spirit from flowing freely in us.

It's time to remove all the barriers....whether they be visible or invisible (not seen by everyone around you).   God's desire is to flow freely in you....so that He can then move freely through you.

It's time to let God in and kick the devil out!

Get Intimate With God

It's time to see again. God always shows us His vision for our lives. One of our favorite sayings is...."If it is the will of God". Yet God has already revealed His desires through His Word. Has He not said that He desires that we prosper and be in good health even as our soul (our mind, will, and emotions) prosper. This tells us that God wants us healthy spiritually and physically. It's all in the "knowing". Knowing that God will never leave you nor forsake you. Knowing that you are the head and not the tail. Knowing that you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. Knowing that it is in God that you live, breathe, and have your being. But again...knowing requires knowledge. Knowledge of who God says you are.

There are many things that are revealed in intimate relationships. Get intimate with God today. There are many things that He needs to reveal to you ... Not only things about Him...but there are things He wants to show you about you. Who knows you better than the one who created you.

Do You Understand Who You Are?

Understanding who you are. You have to understand who you are and what God has called you to be. A king is a person of authority. You have been called to be kings and priests under the authority of Christ. You are to reign in the earth. The problem is, we have no knowledge of who we are...or should I say whose we are. We do not know or understand our kingly heritage. Our breeding. Without the knowledge of who you are and who God created you to be, how can you ever walk in the power or the authority you have been given.

Confidence comes with assurance. Assurance comes through confirmation. Confirmation is given in God's word. God confirms throughout His word who you are and who He has created you to be. But if you never read the word, you can never see who God has created you to be.

Take the time to read your word today...See what God has said about you...Confess what God said about you...and BE what God has said about you.

Be Anchored

We have become so accustomed to how we are. How things are ... and we resist change...whether it be good or bad...we resist it. God is ever changing and He takes us from glory to glory. The hardest part for us is to stand still while God completes the process of change within us. What I mean by being still is for us to be in a place of total trust and obedience to God...His will, purpose and plan for our lives. To have an understanding that He knows all and sees all. To have knowledge of His word that says that He will not allow us to be tried beyond what we can handle.

It's hard to stand still when it seems as though everything is pushing at you on every side. It makes it very difficult to stay in place. That's the challenge. Can you stand in the midst of the storm? Can we be like the boats that are anchored at the dock? When a storm comes, they don't drift away and get destroyed...they stay where they are anchored.

We have to be anchored in the word of God so that when storms come against our lives. So attached to the word of God that we don't just drift away.

Letting Go

What is that you need to let go of today? Is it people, places or things? What is keeping you out of destiny? Not "your destiny" just "destiny". You have to understand tHat destiny is not just about you. There are other people connected to the place you are destined to be. We have to move from the mindset that we have where think our choices only affect us. We need to understand that we are always leaving an inheritance. Inheritance is what you have stored up to leave behind. Check your storage today. Are you leaving behind emotional turmoil? Pain, defeat, backbiting, gossip,unfaithfulness, bad memories? Or are you leaving behind faith, trust, and love?

Every decision that we make has an impact. Even if it is just an emotional impact on someone else. So let's take time to let go of any and everything in our lives that does not line up with the plan, purpose and will of God.

Be An Example Of Thanksgiving

When we stop to think about what God has done in our lives we have to give thanks. But remember thanks is not a momentary thing. We should live in a continual place of thanksgiving. All that you are and all that you will ever be is because of who God is and what Christ did. God is love and out of that love comes His grace and mercy. Out of that love came the ultimate sacrifice, The sacrifice of life so that you could have life.

We too must learn what love is. What sacrifice really means. The whole point of sacrifice is in order to receive a reciprocal result. Christ layed down His life for us, so that we would lay down our lives to be used by God. That is a good principal to have in our homes. One that says I won't ever ask you to do something that I am not willing to do. Whatever I ask you to sacrifice I too am willing to give up. Our lives should never be based on a do as I say principal. It should always be based on example..."do as I do".

In following the same approach, we also need to understand that it is so much easier to learn by example. So as we give thanks, those in our circle of influence learn to give thanks.

Watch What You Are Listening To

There are many voices all around you.   You need to be sure that you are listening to the voice on the inside of you.   The voices around us will try to discourage us or keep us from walking fully in the things of God.   The voice inside is the voice of encouragement.   It is the voice that tells you that you are who God said you are and you can do what God said you can do.  

Be conscious of not only what you are listening to.....but also who you are listening to.
