Classic Faith........Leads To Supernatural Belief? There Are No "Substitutes" for God.....

When something is classic.......it is judged over a period of time to be outstanding and of superior quality.    God is classic.    He has been proven over and over again to be outstanding and of the highest rank, status, and  quality.    You serve a "classic" God!   Confidence is built through your belief.    When you know something has been proven to withstand the tests of time....you are confident in its ability.    Knowing that God has never failed His people.   Knowing that God delivers.   Knowing that God heals.   Knowing that God provides.   Knowing that He never leaves nor forsakes.   Knowing that He loves uncompromisingly.   These things deepen your faith.   These things deepen your confidence in who He is.   These things lead you to believe that regardless of anything else that is going on around you....."God Is".   

The question is ..... "who" is and "what" is God to you?   Is He the one that you look to when things are going wrong?  Your "Father" and "Friend".    Is He the one you come to when you are sick?   Your "Healer".   Is He the one you come to when you need direction?   Your "Waymaker".    What about when you need food or need to pay a bill?   Your "Provider".   Is God "everything" to you or are you looking for substitutes?   Someone or something to take the place of God?   Are you trying to replace the "classic" with something or someone that hasn't withstood the tests of time?   How can you make a substitute for God?   When something is substituted....it is supposed to have the same qualities or qualifications to produce the same end result.   Who or what can take the place of God to bring you to the end result of "eternal life"?   Nothing ..... No One.  There are no substitutes for God.    Anything that you try to substitute God with immediately becomes an "idol"....."a little god" in your life.    God has already said that He would have no other gods before Him and that we are not to worship idols.   

You have to get to a place where your "classic faith" leads you to "supernatural belief".   When something is supernatural....it means it relates to existence outside of the normal realm.  Outside of what you normally see and what you normally believe.    Beyond what can be seen with the physical eye.   It means that even though you cannot see it.....you know it's still happening.    It means that although you can't see Him.....you still know and you still believe that God is still moving on your behalf.
