What Happens When You Let God Be God? You Have To Know That God Is "Exceptional".....

We get so busy that we forget to let God be God.   We run.....we pick....we poke.....we try to figure it out.   In all that we forget that God has already worked it out.    All He wants is for us to be "still" long enough for Him to reveal His answer.    God's answer is awaiting  your rest.

Rest is defined as a cease in movement......it means to STOP.   Stop everything that you are doing.   It means to get refreshed, renewed, and restored.   It is a place of freedom.    Where you are no longer bound .... allowing life to control your your mind, your will, and your emotions.   

When we stop.....cease from what we are doing......that is when God can be God.   He will move.   He will manifest.   He will show Himself strong.   Notice I said.....He "will" show Himself strong.   He "can" do it at any time.   But He "will" do it when you are still and trusting Him.   

The funniest thing about our walk with God.   We say that we surrender our lives to Him.   Yet.....our actions show our independence from Him.    We want to be in control.   We "think" we know what is best for us and we spend our time in prayer trying to "motivate" God to move on our behalf.   

God is not looking for motivational speakers that are trying to motivate Him to move.   He doesn't need to be inspired by us.   His inspiration "rests" in His love.   All He desires is that we let Him be Him in us and through us so that His reflection is seen throughout the earth.   

So get into the place of freedom today.   The place of rest and total reliance on God.   Let Him be God.   Cease from trying to influence and motivate Him into doing what you desire.   Just trust that "He Is".   Trust that "He Will Do".    Trust the "love" that He has for you. 

Make it your determined purpose today to let God be God.    Cease from what you are doing and allow the power of God to flow to you and through you.    When you do this.....when you stop ..... you will see God move like never before.   

Understand today your need for the Lord.    When you recognize your need for Him....then come to the feet of the Father and rest.    Resting includes waiting.    Rest and wait on the peace and the power of the God to move in your life.  

Know that God is "exceptional".....

When something is exceptional....it does not conform to the general rule or pattern.   So the things that God will do and the way that He will do them,  may not be like anything you have ever seen before.
