2nd Post For Today.....
What is impacting your decision for God today? Are your choices based solely on what you believe or what someone else has said? Are you making a decision today based on what you have been told or what you know to be true?
So many times we make decisions based on others peoples hurts and other peoples frustrations. We have to know that God is judging us based on what He has told us. The impact that life has had on someone else or the trial that someone else has had to go through is not the basis of your trial and should not be the cause of your decision.
The Bible says to work out your own soul salvation. What you have to understand is that we each have a soul. The soul is comprised of our mind, our will, and our emotions and we have to understand that situations affect our souls differently. What I go through in life can have a totally different affect on your mind, your will, and your emotions because my sensitivity in one area......may be your strength in that area.
Make sure your choices are your own today. That your decisions are based on what God has said to you and not someone else. Learn the art of "shutting down". Refuse to allow "stuff" to make a playground of your soul. Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life. The questions is ....should someone else's issue become yours? Should your decision be based on the ability of someone else to handle a situation?
The choice is yours.....and remember that God holds us all accountable for what we know.
We should never self condemn or condemn others. But many times we move into a place based on the emotional backing or love we have for others that we should not be. Even though things don't directly affect us.....we judge situations based on the affect it had on someone else. The thing about the mind, the will, and the emotions.....it is individualized. It is unique. I don't have your mind and you don't have mines. So why should my decisions be based on how you feel?
Final decisions on how we act and how we react.....have to be based on the Word. They have to be based on what God has said. It can't be based on how it has affected my friends, my family, or my loved ones. Because there are many things that form roots in us dependent on what we have let in our eye gates and our ear gates.
We have to remember that our accountability is always to God. For some reason we act as though it is to what others have to say about it. Trust the Word that God has revealed to YOU and make every decision based on the Word and not your emotions or compassion for what others have to say.

Lynn, God has so gifted you with this website. You speak the WORD in love and truth. Even a new Christian would be able to understand the message because it is written and explained so well. I think that I will be coming back to this message again and again and again!!!
Say it ain't so-Say it ain't so!!!
Amen....My prayer is just that....that I listen to God's voice, that I write what He tells me to write, and that the Word is received with love and truth. Thank you because your words are encouraging to me....
