We all are constantly changing. The only thing in this world that is not changing is God. For He said in His word....that He changes not. He is the same....yesterday....today.....and forever. He is the one thing in this life that is truly stationary.....not moving....not shifting. That is reliable and dependable at all times.
When we change, we undergo a metamorphosis. A transformation. Whether it be in our attitudes or our actions. We change. Our prayer and our desire should be that we be changed into the image of who God is. The one who is the same at all times. That we be not shaky or constantly shifting. Not knowing which direction to take or what to do. That we be as God.....reliable and dependable at all times.
God is our example. He has made us in His image and after His likeness. Our actions and our attitudes just have to line up with who He is. The best way to come in line with who He is ..... is to be rooted in Him. Rooted in His word and His way. When we are rooted....we are planted. When we are planted.....we then have the ability to grow. And the more we grow.....the harder it becomes for us to be moved.
There is a process of change that we all must go through.....
Prayerfully the direction that we take when we change is the direction that leads us closer to God. The direction that causes us to be rooted and grounded in His word, His will, and His way. So that when the winds of life come against us.....we won't be moved. We will be stationary in the one who never moves. The unchanging God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Words For Today....Rooted, Grounded, Unmovable, and Unchanging.....That's who God is and that is who He created you to be "in Him"........
