Just You.....

God wants just you.   He wants you in every aspect.   Your heart, your mind, your will, and your emotions.   He wants you to be totally committed to who He is and His will for your life.  

So many times we try to bring everything and everyone with us.   But we can't.   Because we can only control ourselves.   We can only control our will.   Not your brothers, your sisters, your neighbors, or your friends.   You can't control how others serve.....or how others worship.   It goes back to working out your own soul salvation.   For making right choices.   Choices that will lead you closer to God.   Choices that will open up revelation to you on who He is and His characteristics.  

So what God wants is surrender.    Surrender means to "cease to resist".   To stop resisting.    When we resist God....we are striving against Him.....we are opposing Him.   Why would we ever want to be on the side that is against who God is?   Wouldn't you rather be on the winning side?   The thing is.....on the winning side....the victory is already won.   There is nothing to do .... but rest.   Rest in your victory.   Rest in who God is.  

So why not surrender and move into who God is?   Why not let go?   Why not let God?   All He wants is you....the question is .... do you REALLY want Him?
