Give The Gift Of Love Today.....Even If Its A Sacrifice. Not Everyone Needs A Store Brought Gift.....Some People Only Need A Word From God.....

What message do we give on today .... a day of celebration?   What do we say to those who may not have gifts or may be in a state of lack and suffering?   What do we say to people who are experiencing hurt and pain because the people that they love may not be here to celebrate with them?    How do you give when you don't have?   So many questions.    So many hurts.   So many pains.    We have to understand as we celebrate that there is still a mission.   There are still those who are suffering.   There are still those who have pain.   Do we lay down what they need in order to see what we got?   Do we make today all about us instead of ministering to the needs of others.   

Sometimes our words can do what we cannot.   Have you ever had someone speak a word to you in due season?   A word that encouraged you or helped you move on.   To take another step or to look at the situation differently.   Have you ever just needed some guidance and some direction to help you get to the next level?   There are many people that are not looking for store bought gifts......they are only looking for a word from God.   A word of encouragement....a word of peace....a word of power to help them understand the situations and circumstances of their lives.  

There are many of us that can't buy physical gifts for everyone we know and everyone we love.   But we can give the gift of love.   The gift of encouragement.   The gift of peace and the gift of power.   We can share the love of God with those we know and we don't know.   

Will you give the gift of love today?   To those you know and those you don't know.   Be a vessel used by God.   Sharing all that you have inside of you with all of those around you.   Let people around you know that they can come to you ..... that they can count on you ..... that they can trust you.   Let them know that your words and your works line up.   That your love is real because it is based on who God is.    

Today is a day of celebration.   Today is a day of thanksgiving.   Today is the day that we celebrate our Savior.   The best celebration that we can have will be by doing what He came to do.   He loved to the point of sacrifice.    Will you love today?   Again I say .... will you love today?   Will you sacrifice today being all about what you have gotten or will get and love someone through their hurt, through their pain, through their inadequacies?   Will you love them even though they hurt you in the past?   Even though they said evil things about you?   Will you love them the way God loves you?   Through  your mistakes and through you pain.  

Give the best gift today.....give the gift of love.     Even if it's a sacrifice.
