Letting God Be God....Stepping Out Of Self and Into Him......

Letting God be God.   Letting Him be Ruler, Comforter, Deliverer, and Friend.   Isn't it funny how we are constantly seeking what we already have?   We have a Comforter .... yet we are constantly seeking out someone to comfort us.   To give us a word.   To tell us what to do.   We have a Deliverer .... yet we are always wanting someone to come to our rescue.    What is it that we are truly seeking?   Could it be that we want something or someone that appeals to our flesh?   Could it be that we just don't know how to be still and let God be God?  Let Him step in and take over.   That's what He desires to do.   He desires to take over those things that are affecting our lives.   To take over the hurt, the pain, the lack, and the insufficiency.   He desires to step in where sickness and disease are trying to rule and reign.    He wants to be the ruler of our lives and not just our temporary situations.   

Allowing God to be God.   Are you willing to do that today?   Are you willing to step back so that God can step up in your life?    Understand today that there is only room for one to rule in your life.   Either you will let God rule or you will "try" to rule yourself.    We have to be careful not to get into the mode of "self" rule.   When you rule in self....you are saying that you are subject to what God has said or is saying in your life.   Your trust is rooted in your own ability ...... instead of God's ability.   

What do you truly want from this life?  If it is to serve Him....then let God be God.   Yield and step back.   Allow God to be your guide.   Allow God to have full authority in your life.   Step out of self and into Him.  Understand that as God leads you.....He also carries you.
