We Are Quick To Say "God Knows My Heart".....But Do We Truly Understand What We Are Saying....

We are so quick to say "God Knows My Heart".....but do we understand what we are saying?   Do we understand that we are saying that He knows the root of what is in us?   Do we understand that He knows what generates our thoughts and our actions?   What they are based in.   What they are rooted in.   Whether they are a result of Him and His word or something that has nothing to do with Him. When we say God knows my heart....it is usually an excuse for something we have done or something we have said.   God is not looking for excuses.   He wants you to take ownership for what you do and what you say and come before Him and receive grace, mercy, and forgiveness.

What we have to understand is that we can never uproot anything that we keep covering up.    If we cover up our mistakes,, if we cover up our feelings, if we cover up our attitudes and our actions....they can never be uprooted.   They just stay and manifest themselves at another time.   It is like covering up a seed in the ground.   It brings about an environment that is conducive to growth.   It allows the roots to grow deeper and the manifestation of  whatever it is to breakthrough the ground of your heart and soul to be seen.   It becomes evident in the way you talk, the things you do, and how you feel.

We  have to understand what God meant when He said to come boldly to the throne of grace.    When you come boldly you are not ashamed.   You come not worrying about what someone has to say or what they think.   You are seeking change through repentance.   You are seeking God's grace in a time of need.    It's no longer about what you meant to do.....it's all about God helping you do it.     It's about seeking the heart and the help of the Father.

Challenge yourself.   The next time you mess up or are unable to fulfill what you are supposed to do.   Ask God for help.   Ask Him to help you change.    Don't just shrug off the things that you do that are not conducive to His will.   Desire to change.   Desire to be different. Desire to do it God's way.

Yes....God knows your heart.   But understand.....God wants to consume your heart.
