Understand that no matter which way you are going....a step is an act of movement. Whether we are moving backwards or forwards......we are moving. Why is that we feel that we have to always be moving? One of the greatest things that God has said is ...... be "still" and know that I am God. God wants you to know who He is. He wants you to stop being fidgety. Stop moving around. He wants you to become motionless in Him. Waiting on God requires that you become motionless. It requires that you stop trying to do it yourself. In order to be motionless.....you have to be at a place of complete rest. Complete trust. Complete knowledge and understanding that God will take care of it. He will watch over His word to perform it in your life. Waiting on God is just that.....waiting.
Get tightened today. When you tighten something .... you secure it. You fasten it. You anchor it. Get anchored in your belief. Secure yourself with the word of God. In order to secure yourself with the word....you must first know the word. You have to know what God has said about meeting your needs and protecting you no matter where you are. You have to know what God has said about fighting your battles and that you are victorious. You have to know that He is a rock that cannot be moved and if you anchor onto that rock....you will not be moved.
Situate yourself in the word. In other words....position yourself in the word. Let your position be defined by who God is. God has a plan for you.....but in order for Him to fully reveal it to you.....you have to be motionless. You have to be still and "know" that He is God.
