Are you esteeming others better than yourself or are you looking down on others saying what they could do or should do and still doing what you want to do and not what God has told you to do. It's easy to look at what others do because our physical view is an outward view but the question is, are you looking inwardly? Are you looking at what is going on in the inside of you?
What's in your heart? Is your heart overflowing with love or is your heart being used as the breeding ground for bitterness, strife, and unforgiveness? Are you walking in love and compassion for others or are you only about self-love, self-ambition, and self-preservation.
When we begin to understand that God is love. We understand the importance of giving love because when we give people love, we are actually giving them God. There is no greater gift to give someone than the true love of God.
So, remember to do what it says in Philippians 2:3 and value others higher than yourself. In other words, respect them, value them, and regard them above your own self-ambitions.
