When you are tired and weary what do you do? Do you sit down and rest? Do you take a nap? Do you stop doing what you are doing in an effort to regain your strength? What is it that you do while you are waiting to be refreshed and rejuvenated in life?
There are times when we feel weak. Times when we feel we just can't go on and it is at those times we need to remember Matthew 11:29. It says, that we are to take God's yoke upon us and learn of Him and we shall find rest for our souls. That means as we do that, as we learn of God, He will give us rest for our mind, our will, and our emotions. He will refresh us.
Remember how Jesus was asleep in the boat even though there was a storm raging all around Him. That is what God wants for you. He wants you to be in a place where your eyes, your heart, and your mind are not focused on what is going on around you because you know that He is with You and He will take care of everything that you need.
When you think about being strong, do you think about the fact that your strength is in God? He said that in your weakness He is strong. Do you rest in knowing that God said in Isaiah 41:10 to fear not because He is with us? He said we are not to be dismayed because He is our God and He will strengthen and help us. He said that He would uphold us with His hand of righteousness.
