Are you thinking that the grass is greener on the other side? Sometimes in life you can look at someone else's life and think they have what you want. You may think that the outcome of their life is better than what is happening in your life but you have to realize that God knows what He is doing. He made each of us different for a reason. He created us each in a way in which His glory can be revealed and He placed us here on earth where He wants us to be and He wants us to represent Him well.
We have to make sure we are not getting caught up on what it looks like on the outside of someone else's life. We have to keep our own internal focus so that what God has placed on the inside can manifest on the outside. We can't afford to focus on someone else's blessings and lose faith and trust in what God said He would do for us. We have to remember, not everyone has the same purpose in life and not everyone's life can be God's tool to reach each and every person.
God has given all of us a circle of influence. He has placed people on our pathway of life that only we can touch for Him. There are people who have gotten lost while traveling their journey called life that God will allow our lives and lifestyles to touch and there are people who just don't know which way to go that God will use us to help along the way.
Don't ever think that someone else's life is better than yours because your purpose was given to you by God and you are important in His plan called life. Don't discount what God is doing in you and through you based on what you see and interpret about others who may or may not be doing a good work for God. Just remember, God is not a respecter of persons and just as He blesses others, He can bless you too but His blessings for you may not reflect outwardly the same way it reflects for others.
