Time To Build Up....Not Hoard Up.....

If you are called to build up and repair.....what are you doing?   Are you helping to build up others?   Are you helping to mend the down trodden and broken hearted?   Or are you self motivated and self initiated?   There is brokenness all around us.   The question is are we reaching out?   Better yet.....are we pouring out?

Our mission should not be to be full of God.   It should be to see how much of the God in us we can pour out.   Pour out on the lives of those that are hurting.   Pour out on the lives of those that are lost.   Pour out on the lives of those that are broken.

Our mission is to GIVE.... not to GET.    Our mentality has to change.    We ask God for more of Him.....which is good.   The question is.....what are we doing with the more.   Are we hoarding it?   Piling it up for ourselves.   Or are we allowing the overflow to touch the lives of those around us?

God wants to give us more of Him.....but the more is not for our own personal gain and use.   It is so that we can satisfy the needs of those around us.   The need for comfort, for peace, for compassion, for change.    You have the answer residing on the inside of you for the worlds problems.    Be a resource.   Be a river that flows into the life of someone else today.    Let them freely drink from the God that is in you.

Understand The Plan

Is it your job to know the plan or to understand the plan?  In Jeremiah 29, God says.....I know the plans I have for you................

If it's God's job to know the plan....then what is your position?   Your position is to understand the plan.   To understand  that God's desire is to bless you.   To give you a hope and an expected end.   An expectancy.   So again I ask, if it is God's job to know....what is your job?  Your job is to understand.

Your hope, your trust, your expectancy is to be rooted in God and God alone.

He knows the plan.....He has the blueprint.....and He will lead you.    All you have to do is lay down your plan....get rid of your agenda.....and put your total trust in Him.

What Are You Looking For?

What is your motive behind what you are doing today?    For those around  you.   Your family, your friends,  your co-workers, the stranger you just happen to meet......  Are you looking for self recognition?   Are you looking for self accomplishment?   Are  you wanting accolades from them or God?   The scripture on Bible.com today was ....

"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves."  Philippians 2:3
There are many key words in this scripture that we need to understand.
  • Strife is angry or bitter disagreement.
  • Vain is to be excessively proud of your own abilities, accomplishments, or beliefs.
  • Glory means honor, praise, or distinction.
  • Lowliness is the state of being humble or unimportant.
  • Mind is the part of us that thinks, feels, wills, perceives, and judges.
  • Esteem is to regard highly or favorably with respect and admiration.
  • Better means in a greater degree.
So God is telling us let nothing that we do be done out of angry or  bitter disagreement.   We are not to be excessively proud in our own abilities, accomplishments, or beliefs and bestow honor and praise on what we have done.    Instead we are to be humble and consider ourselves as unimportant in what we think, feel, will or perceive.   We are to regard others more highly and favorably than ourselves by treating them with respect and admiration in a degree which is greater than we consider ourselves to be.

Trust God today....
Believe His Word today.....
Do His Word today.....

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God,
that He might exalt you at the proper time..." (I Peter 5:6)

Prophecy Fulfilled......Do You Believe God?

What all does God want?   What all does God desire from you?   What time are we in?   What season are we walking through in life?   The Bible says that times and seasons are in God's hands.    Are you walking under the direction and protection of God?

Direction......the management, supervision, or instruction for an action or operation.

Protection.....to keep from suffering harm or injury.

If we step back and look at the things that are happening in the atmosphere.   The storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.   We can realize the biblical prophecy that is coming to pass.   What we have to understand is that God's word is true and His prophecy will come to pass.    We pray .... let the storms stop .... but we already know from reading the Bible that these things shall come to pass.   Yes we need to pray for the storms to cease but we must be sure to pray for God's direction and protection during this season.

Our direction has to be one in which God manages us....God supervises us....and God instructs us.    We have to be covered by His protection to insure that we are kept from suffering harm or injury.

If you have lived your life in partiality......partly serving God and partly serving the world.    Now is the time to make a decision.   Choose this day who you will serve.....Let your footsteps be ordered and your path be straight.   Let your covering be God and God alone.    Let the blood of Jesus be upon the doorpost of your house .... so that destruction will pass over you and your house.

This is real.....we are living in biblical prophecy.    God always sends signs and provides warnings.    It is up to us as to whether we want to listen and obey.    The question is will you be like Noah or the people?   Same scenario.....different people.   Noah believed God and walked in obedience.   The people did not.

The choice today is yours....

Hope For The Lonely.....

God has given many of us talents, gifts, and abilities.   But it is up to us to use what He has given us.   Obedience is what is key.  Are we willing to do what He says when He says do it.   How many of us know that God has told us something to do....yet we still haven't done it.   God said if we obey Him....He will bless our land.....(that's everything and everyone that concerns us)......

I thank Him today for blessing my niece.....She has obeyed God and wrote a book that reaches out to the singles.   How many of us need to know or be reminded that there is "Hope For The Lonely".   It's not God's desire that you be alone....but what is He trying to perfect in you while you are alone?

If you are single or someone you know is single...consider getting this book or sowing the seed of the Word into someone elses life.

                 "Hope For The Lonely"

In Hope For The Lonely, Jacqui Moore shares the wisdom and knowledge God has given her about what it means to wait and how to wait on God for your mate.

God longs to be gracious to us and grant us the desires of our hearts but there are lessons we need to learn in life first.  If you are lonely, frustrated, and tired of waiting this book will reveals mysteries concerning….

  • What it means to seek God first and foremost
  • Your purpose living single and purpose in a relationship
  • How to spend your time waiting
  • How to cover your relationship once God has answered your prayers for a mate
  • What it means to have hope and faith in a God who is faithful
If you desire answers to the questions why do I have to wait, how do I wait, and how do I handle my relationship once the wait is over you will appreciate this book.

Jacqui Moore desires to share the wisdom and knowledge God has given her as she has lived the single life. Jacqui knows how it feels to be lonely, frustrated, and tired with waiting. Jacqui hopes this encourages you and gives you a hope as you grow in knowing that God has not forsaken you.

God Wants Us Complete In Him....

Complete means whole.   Lacking no elements.   Entire.

God wants us to be complete in Him.   When we say we are complete in Him, we are saying that we are whole.   That we lack no elements.   That we are not broken or decayed.   When something is decayed, it is rendered useless.

We have to understand that in God we have everything that we need.   The resources are available to accomplish everything that we need to in this life in Him.    We just have to do it in Him and for Him.  So many times we step out to accomplish things in life but we are doing them in self.

Our primary goal is self righteousness and self accomplishment.   That is not God's will, purpose or plan.   He wants us to understand that He created us to rely on Him.   To accomplish great things through Him.   To reveal to the world Him.

When the light shines......the only reflection that people need to see is the God in you.   Because this life is not about us....it about showing others God in us.

What Changes Things?

What changes things?   What changes how you think....and how you feel?   What changes your life?    What changes the way you see life?    What changes your joy into mourning?   What are you allowing to change your peace into turmoil?   Your faith into fear?

What have you given that much authority to in your life?

God changes NOT.   Nothing shakes who He is or what He has said.   We are to be like Him.   We cannot allow people, places, or things to shake or shape how we act, think, see, or feel.   Unshakable faith.   Unmoved belief.    Understanding that what God says is FINAL.

God says that you are blessed....that's FINAL.   God said that you are loved....that's FINAL.   God said that He will take care of you....that's FINAL.    UNSHAKABLE FAITH.   UNMOVED BELIEF.

All that you are .... is what God created you to be.   All that you need ... is already supplied by God.   However, it is up to you to access it.   Your FAITH....Your STAND....Your BELIEF are all keys to getting into the place of provision.

Don't allow anything or anyone to change what you believe.  Let the Word be final authority in your life.   What God has SAID to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and the prophets of old still stands for your life today.

We must understand the true power of God's words.....Just as He spoke the world into existence.   The world is still standing.   The heavens, the earth, light and darkness are still in place .... just as God spoke them to be when He created the world.    So it is with His word concerning His people.    IT HAS NOT CHANGED.   So don't allow the things of the world to change you.

Trust and believe and watch and see the salvation of the Lord.....

Broken.....So That Others Can See The God In You....

What kind of vessel do you think God wants to use?   We tend to think that He wants to use perfect vessels.   Those that can quote the right scripture or give the best sermon (which in some cases sounds like the best speech).   We think that God is looking for someone that has it all together.   Whereas, God is actually looking for those that are broken.

Brokenness....One definition of brokenness is  "subdued completely; humbled".   To be broken....to be in pieces.  When a horse is trained, he is also said to be broken.   Brokenness is not necessarily a bad thing.

I was listening to someone yesterday on a video and she was talking about brokenness.   She said that when we are broken.....that is when the God in us can be seen.    That is when the light that is in us can be seen on the outside.

It is when we have needs and desires in our lives that people tend to see our faith the most.   When we need to be healed....that is we pray more.   When we have a financial need....that is when we seek God more.   When God moves on our behalf.....that is when we testify more.   All of this is part of the breaking process.
God ultimately wants us to a place where we are completely broken.   Where people can look and see that we live a life a faith and trust in Him.    A place of humility and awareness of who He is and what He has done for our lives.

Be broken today....so that others can see the God in you.    Pray whether you have a need or not.   Believe whether you have a need or not.   Sometimes you may have to believe for others.   Trust whether you can see God moving or not.    Your brokenness is not for you.   It is so that others can see the God in you.

Trust and believe and God will do.......

Are You Pliable?

Maybe the better question is are you pliable to God?   Pliable means to be easily bent or shaped.   It means to adapt.   To be molded or drawn out.   It means you have the capability of being bent, flexed or twisted without being broken.   It means that you are capable of being led and directed.

Pliability can work negatively or positively.   It is all determined by what is leading you.   What is directing you.   Or should I say who.    Are you allowing your thoughts to be pliable?    Are they being bent or shaped towards God or the things of the world?   Are your footsteps.....the places you go and the things you do....being led an directed by God or the things of the world?

We have to know what is directing us?  What is driving us to do what we do?    A good way to check what  is directing you is to look at the fruit that it is producing.

Are the shows you are watching on TV producing God thoughts or thoughts pertaining to the things of the world?   How about the music you are listening to?    The people that you hang around?    The books you are reading?    After you have spent time doing these things.....what is the end result?   Has your relationship with God and your understanding of His plan and purpose for your life increased or are you lost still looking for the direction you are supposed to go.

The time is drawing near and no day is promised on the earth.   Everything that we do matters to God.   Everything that we say.....bears fruit.   Our life.....and the end of our life....is determined by our walk of obedience.    And our obedience is a result of our pliability.

So the question again is ......

Are you pliable to the things of GOD or the world?

Give Yourself Away.....There Are No Reserves In God!

How hard is it to serve God?   To do what He says and to live according to His word.   To walk as He says walk.  To talk as He says talk.   To trust Him above everyone and everything else in your life.

It's not easy to let go and let God.   But it is required.   It is a necessity.   It is essential.

God requires that we see as He sees and serve as He serves.   In other words.....He wants us to help and provide for the needs of those around us.   Just as He provides for our needs.   He wants us to encourage others.....just as He encourages us.

Everything that God is.....He wants us to be.   We are His representatives here on the earth.   Serve God today by serving others.   Love as He loves.   Give as He gives.   Talk as He talks.   Walk as He walks.

Life is only hard when you try to do it by yourself.    No one needs to feel alone.   Take time to pour out the Love of God to someone else today.   There are no reserves in God.   God continuously pours out on us.....we are to continuously pour out to others.

Is It Really More That You Need.....Or Just God That You Need?

Sometimes you wonder if what you are doing is the right thing.   If what you are doing is enough.   Sometimes  you think that you should be doing more.   But what is more?   Who determines what more is?

Is it really more that you need or just God that you need?   God specializes in using the least?   Whether it be spiritually or financially.   He takes the little and makes it more than enough.   It's all a part of your faith.    He wants to show you that He is "enough".   That if you have Him, it is not the little bit that matters.   But He is always more than enough.

Stop looking at what you have and what you don't have.    Stop trying to compare your anointing with someone else's anointing.  Stop trying to determine whether you can make it on the money that you have.   Just know.....if you have God.....you have more than enough.

This walk is not based on appearance.   The way that a situation appears to be.   It is based on reality and the reality is that God is more than enough.    He is your specialist today.   He is devoted to making sure that you have all you need to accomplish the plan and the purpose that He has designated for your life.

To God......in God's eyes......He has already determined that you deserve nothing less than His best and He has already given that.   Shall He not supply everything else you need?  Whether you need to minister to someone or whether you need to pay a bill.   God has placed in you a supply.   That supply is Him.   The Holy Spirit that dwells on the inside of you.   Draw from the fountain within.   From that fountain comes wisdom and insight.   From that fountain comes direction and peace.   From that fountain comes the voice of God.

Know the course and direction that God is taking your life.    Know the supply has already been appropriated (designated with you in mind).   The only requirement and stipulation that is necessary to have access to your personal supply is "faith".   A trust and belief in God who is more than enough.

Do We Really Have Daily Moments With God? .... Written By Alexis Moore

Lately I have been taking the time to sit and talk to God.  Sometimes I dont think we realize the importance of having time with God.  Even outside of a devotional, we should sit and listen to what God has to say. A lot of times with devotionals we limit ourselves due to time......... or because its just easier.

However, imagine spending every day with God reading the scripture He has you to turn to.   I believe if we all did this we would become much more effective Christians.  We would better know the word of God and more importantly we would develop a relationship with Him......much deeper than just reading the Bible.....but listening to God.    Listening to God is so vital to living a Christian life.

Today I encourage you to talk to God, then sit and wait to hear what "He" has to say and what "He" has you to read.  Each day you will get a new revelation and it is always refreshing to spend time with Him.

Don't limit your time with Him and He won't limit his revelation to you.

He desires to say so much to us.......but do we make the time to hear Him?

Encouraging Word Given By God To.....
Alexis Moore

What Life Are You Living? Are You Living "In" God?

"Paul said that the life he lived, he lived by faith in the Son of God....the one who loved Him and gave Himself for Him......that he walked by faith and not by sight."

What life are you living?   Are you living a life of faith in the one that loved you and gave himself for you.   The same Jesus died for you and for Paul.   Therefore, the same requirement stands.   The requirement of walking by faith and not by sight.

When you say that you are "in" something.   You are saying that you are enclosed or surrounded by something else.    Paul said that he lived "by" faith "in" the Son of God.   This tells us how Paul lived and where Paul lived.    How are you living?   Are you living by faith.....where you trust and believe what God has said?  Are you living in God......where you are enclosed and surrounded by His will, his plan, and His purpose?

Two essential words.   "By" and "In".    Always check yourself to see whether you are living "by" faith "in God" or "in your own choices".    See whether your life is enclosed and surrounded by God's plan and His purpose or your plan and your purpose.

God designed this life with you in mind.   He designed so that you would have an avenue to help you in times of trouble.   To heal you when you are sick.   To give you a place of comfort when you are lonely.   He designed it so that He could be everything that you will ever need.

The questions is.....will you let Him?

There Is Only One Thing You Need To Seek

Seek means to go in search or quest of something.   To attempt or try to find something.   So my question today is .... what are you seeking?   What are you trying to find?   Are you trying to find inner peace?   Are you trying to find an answer to a problem?   Are you trying to find money?   What are you seeking?

God says to seek Him.   In Him is everything you need.   What is a need?  Need is defined as something that is necessary.   Something required.  Need also means obligation.

So let's think about it.   If God says that He is all that you need, He is saying that He is what is necessary.   He is what is required.   He is the one that you are morally bound (obligated) to.

We  have to get to a place where we no longer seek "stuff" or "our own way".   If we would just seek Him, we would understand that He is El Shaddai.   That He has within Him the power to meet every one of our needs.    We would understand that He is Jehovah Jireh.....our provider.    He is Jehovah Shalom....our peace.   That He is Jehovah Ropha....our healer.

As we look at the things around us and what they consist of.....let's stop and look at God.   There is nothing lacking, missing, or broken in God.   Within God is everything we need.   He is all and all.    So when you seek today......seek God.   Don't waste time seeking other things.   Seek the one, the true, the living God who sees all, knows all, and does all.

In seeking God....you will "have" everything else you need.

Trust God For Today.....Don't Worry About Tomorrow

I am reading a book by E M Bounds called the "Necessity of Prayer".   In the book he writes,

"As every day demands its bread, so every day demands its prayer. No amount of praying, done today, will suffice for tomorrow's praying. On the other hand, no praying for tomorrow is of any great value to us today. To-day's manna is what we need; tomorrow God will see that our needs are supplied. This is the faith which God seeks to  inspire. So leave tomorrow, with its cares, its needs, its troubles, in God's hands. There is no storing tomorrow's grace or tomorrow's praying....."
Doesn't this hit home?   We get so caught up in the problems of tomorrow, we forget to pray for God's grace today.   Trusting God to get us through this day and allowing Him to get us into tomorrow so that we can trust Him for that as well.

God does not want us worrying about what we need to do by Friday or next week.   What we have to be begin to realize is that next weeks need is not part of our "daily" bread.    Our walk with God is moment by mmoment and not just day by day.   Everything that we do, everything that we feel, everything that we need whether it be for today, tomorrow, or next week........God knows.      And that is what we have to trust.   We have to trust and believe that God knows. and we don't have to worrry about it.

What we have to understand is that every day is specifically designed by God.   Today is the foundation taht God is building our tomorrow on.   The foundation that he is building on today is the testimony that you will tell tomorrow.

So allow God's grace, mercy, and faithfulness to take you through today and trust in the fact that God knows what tomorrow holds and just as he took you through yesterday and is taking  you through today.   He will take you through tomorrow.   It's just not something you need to worry about.

Total Trust & Commitment.....that's all God wants.......

What will you choose to do today?   Will you choose to get up and worship?   Will you sing praises to God or to man?   Will you speak life into others?   Will you be cast down....down trodden and discouraged?  Or will your rejoice and know that there is no god like your God?

When you stop and look at life, you understand that there is no God like your God.  You understand and see how He has protected and kept you through the hardest times in your life.   Times when you didn't know what to do or how to do it.   Times when everyone else had given up on  you and walked out on you.   God was still there.   He has shown His love to you in so many ways in the past.....what makes you think He will not show up now?    What has discouraged you into thinking that God is not enough?   What is affecting your belief?   God has told us in His word that He changes not.   He is the same yesterday (which covers your past), today (which covers your present), and forever (which covers your future).    If you understand that....then you understand that what He did for you yesterday, He will do today and the next day if necessary.    He says He will never leave us nor forsake us.    What will it take for you to understand that He is all you need?

There are two things that God needs from you.   That is that your trust Him and that you be totally committed to Him.    Total trust and total commitment......can you do that for God today considering all that He has done for you.

Where Are You Getting Your Inspiration?

Inspire means to stimulate to motion by divine influence.   It means to motivate, affect or touch.   But I think the most awesome definition of inspire is "to breathe on".

So my question today is "where are you getting your inspiration"?   Who are you allowing to breathe on you?   Who is motivating you or influencing you?   Who or what are you allowing to affect or touch  your life?

It is God's desire that He be the sole influence or motivator in your life.   What do you think motivated Jesus to do what He did?   To lay down His life and to die on a cross for us.  To give up His Godly state to take on the sins of the world.    What a powerful influence.    The influence of love.   God is love.     He allowed the breadth of life (which is God) to breathe on Him (He is God) and cause Him to make the sacrifice of life (which was His life) so that we could live (In Him).

Everything that God has done, was done by Him, in Him, and through Him.   All He desires is that we now live for Him.    Let your inspiration come solely from God and nothing else.    In doing so you will always live and walk in the love of God and everything that you do will be blessed by Him.

Lack or Sufficiency....What Do You See?

Can you see your sufficiency .... even when it looks like lack?   Jesus asked Phillip in John 6, where should He buy food for the multitude to eat.   Phillip answered that two hundred penneyworth of bread was not sufficient.

Jesus NEVER asked if they had enough to buy the bread......He just asked where should they buy the bread.   That is how we do God.   God tells us to do something or He places us somewhere and we consistently look at what we see as lack.   When God is just saying.....do what I told you to do and I will supply the need.

Although Andrew's response to Jesus was that he saw a lad with five loaves of bread and two fish.   He still didn't see the supply as enough.   How many times to we look at what we have and say "it's not enough"?

We are real good at looking at life through our natural eyes  instead of eyes of faith.   We need to shift.   We need to look at the supply we have as just enough.    Jesus' response to Andrew was to make the men sit down (get everything in order) and He gave thanks for what He had.  At that point, what He had became sufficient.

So the word to  you today is to see beyond your lack and thank God for what you have.   At the point that you give thanks, God will intervene and make sure you have more than enough.   It's not about what you can get with what you have.   It's all about what God will do when you give thanks for what you have.

The Enemy Is After Your Faith.....

I was reading “The Necessity of Prayer” by E.M. Bounds this morning.

One of the things he was talking about in the beginning of the book was how Jesus prayed for Peter.   He told Peter that Satan desired to sift him as wheat but Jesus’ prayer was that Peter’s faith “fail not”.

We have to begin to understand that the enemy is after our faith.   He doesn’t want us to take a stand or to believe.   He wants us to experience “faith failure”.

My prayer for you today is that your “faith fail not”.   That you stand knowing that God sees all and knows all.   Knowing that He will never leave you nor forsake you.   That in Him is a place called “rest”.    He desires that you dwell there.   He desires that you locate that place in Him where you know that everything is going to be alright.   The place of trust.   The place of knowledge.   The knowledge that says that the Creator of the world “has your back”.   He sees all….He knows all….and He has already said that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

So again, my prayer for you is that you be strong in the knowledge of Him and that your faith does not fail.    That you stand and see the “Love of God” and experience the peace of God.   Knowing that "this too" will work out for your good.   You may not see the good in the situation.   But you must take every experience....every trial and use it to still the hand of the enemy in someone else's life.   THAT'S WHAT YOUR TESTIMONY IS FOR.   To help someone else.   Their trial may not be as intense as yours.   But their strength may not be as strong as yours.   It doesn't nullify that they need to hear from you.   How  you made it, how God brought you out, and how God has graced you and is continuing to grace you in situations in your life.

You have the ability and the strength within you to "turn the tables".   Did God not say that He would work EVERYTHING out for the good of them that love Him and are called according to His purpose?  You have been called and that means that God has already worked it out.

What Are You Hearing? Are You Hearing The Sound Of Victory?

So what are you hearing?   Are you hearing the sound of victory?   What does victory sound like to you?    Is it a resounding sound?  When a sound is resonant, it is clear, it is easily heard.    Rather than ask what are you hearing, a better question would be, what sound are you making?

One of the things that was shared in bible study last night was about the characteristics of a lion.   How a lion never roars when he is pursuing his prey.   He only roars after he has killed his prey.    It is not until he has experienced victory, after he has captured his prey, that he begins to roar.

We have to understand that we are already victorious.   We have something to rejoice about.    We are not in a battle trying to overcome the enemy.  The battle has already been won.   The enemy has already been defeated.  We have been given the privilege of walking in the victory that has already been won.    Yet we sit back in silence as though we are hiding from the enemy.   We are moving based on the sound we hear coming from the enemy rather than offering of the sound of praise to our Father for the victory that has already been won.

The Bible says that the satan walks around "as" a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.   The key word is "as".    But my question is how do you walk "as"?   Do you walk as a person defeated?   Or do you walk "as" one who has been given authority?

Understand  today that you are a trumpet waiting to be heard.    There are people around you that need to hear that the battle is over and that the enemy has been defeated.   Your sound needs to outweigh the roars of the enemy so that the world will know that the battle is over and victory is won.

There Is Hope......

Everything that God is doing, He is doing in you.   Everything that God is saying, He is saying to you.   He wants you to know that He loves you.   He wants  you to know that He is watching over you.   He wants you to know that you are important to Him.   His desire is that you trust Him.  Trust Him to be everything that you need.   Trust Him to guide you through the difficult situations in life.   Trust Him to be there when nothing else seems to be going right.    God loves you.    He chose you.   He is watching over you and keeping you.

Everything you are.....and everything that you ever will be.....is in God.   You were created by Him.....for Him... to tell someone about Him.    Let your light shine today.   Let your voice be heard today.   Tell someone about your Savior, your God, your King.   Tell someone about the best friend you have.   There is someone who has not experienced "love" the way you have.   God is love.   Let them know that there is hope available for them.....if they put their trust in God.

We Are Still Writing God's Word Today!

All that you are and all that you were created to be is in Christ.    You were created to worship.   You were created to testify.   You were created to achieve God's plan on the earth.

You have to know why you are here.   You have to know why you are chosen.   Why God chose you.   Why out of all the people He could have chose, He chose you.    You are a part of God's plan.    You have been selected like Mary, like David, like Moses, like Paul to be a part of God's plan in the earth.

The Bible is a collection of  sacred writings that we read in order to help us to walk out this walk from day to day.    What you have to understand is that we are still writing the God's word today.   The sacred writings.   They are being written on the tablet of God's heart.    Everything that we do and everything that we say is being recorded.    If God was to call a scribe today to take down everything that we have done and to put it in a book as a guide for others to read.......what would it be like?

Just as we look at the lives of the kings, priests, and apostles today and learn from their lives........would someone be able to learn to trust God from your life and your lifestyle?

Please remember the book is still being written.   You are a living epistle to be read by all men.    What is it that your children, co-workers, friends, and family are learning from you?

So What Is There To Be Angry About?

Have you ever just not understood?
Have you ever thought it is not meant for you to understand?

The Bible says in Jeremiah 17 -
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”

We try to understand people.  We try hard to figure out what makes a person do what they do or act the way they act.   All of our trying, sometimes leads us to frustration.  We have to understand that people are God's creation.   It is not for us to decipher, who what when or why....

We have to trust God in all things.   In all of our trials, as well as, our relationships.   We have to check our own hearts.   We have to make sure that the root of hurt, pain, deceit, and anger doesn't become embedded in us and cause us to act outside of God's will.    God's will is that we love everyone without restrictions and without "buts" (but he hurt me, but he doesn't love me, but he just doesn't do what God says).   He wants us to trust Him and love everyone.    There are no "buts" in God.

We have to be careful that we put not our trust in man.   It is only when we put to much trust in a man that they tend to let us down.   Because we "thought" they would act differently or do something differently.   We must give everything and everyone over to God and trust Him to do in them whatever needs to be done in order for His will and His plan (not our will or our plan) to be done in their lives.

So don't be angry when people don't measure up to what you thought.   They are just not there yet.   Or maybe its just not where God wants them to be.  Just trust God to get them where they need to be and you just take a stand.   While you are standing.....be sure to trust God (not only for yourself but for those around you too).

Do You Choose To Worship?

I choose to worship.
Worship is a choice.    You choose to honor God.   You choose to reverence God.   You choose to adore the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Worship is not something that you are made to do.   It has to come from within.   It is birthed out of your devotion and commitment.    It is based on a love relationship.

Worship is not something that you are made to do.   God will not make you reverence Him.   He will not make you love Him.   It is His desire that you do.   But the choice is yours.

Do you choose to worship today?   To honor, reverence, and love God with all that is within you.    The choice is yours.

Is God Your Everything?

He is Creator and King.   Lord most high.   Ruler of the Universe.   That's who God is.   He is the almighty one.   The deliverer.    All powerful.....All knowing....King of Kings.

All that I am and all that I will ever be is in Him.  In who God is.   God is love.   So I am love.    The fruit that I produce should be fruits of love.    God is peace, therefore I rest. There are no distractions in God.....He just is.

Who is God to you?   How far are you willing to go?   How much are you willing to surrender?   The worship for today talks about God being the song we sing and our everything......

Is He your everything today?  Or is something else occupying your time and your devotion?   Your devotion is what you love.....what you are loyal to.....what  you are enthusiastic about.    You devotion will determine your commitment.   Devotion and commitment work hand in hand.   What you are devoted to, you will become committed to.    Just as what you are committed to, you will become devoted to.

So again the question is.............

Is God Your Everything?

Just Trust God.....

Not everyone is going to do what you do.   Not everyone is going to hear like you.   Not everyone is going to obey like you.   And there will be things....you just won't understand.

The thing is.....God did not call you to decipher (to understand and interpret) why someone else does what they do.   He has called you to understand and trust Him.   His way, His plan, and His purpose.    We are spending to much time and to much energy on seeking to understand people and not enough time on seeking God.

Trust comes when you rely on the ability, reliability, truth, and strength of something or someone.   We have to learn to put our trust "totally" in God.   For He is truth and He is strength and He is reliable and He alone is able.   Frustration is the feeling of being upset or annoyed because we are unable to change something or someone.    God did not call us to change people.   They too have to be reliant on God and have to trust Him.   We can only trust God for ourselves.   Our trust is always based on whether we receive or reject what God has said and is saying in our lives.

Don't allow someone else's attitude and actions to dictate your day or your life.   Don't allow their inability to show love be the reason you fail to walk in love.   Or their inability to give be the reason you don't give.  Put your life totally in the hands of God.   Be determined to fulfill His plan and His purpose for "your" life.   Walk the walk He has told you to walk.   Talk the talk He has told you to talk.   Be the person that He has created you to be.

When it comes to those around you that you just don't understand.......just pray.   Prayer is the tool that God has given us so that we can put things in His hands.   After you have prayed....then just trust.    Remember when you trust God, you are saying that you believe in His ability, reliability, truth, and strength for you and those around you.

Through It All.....Have You Learned To Trust In God?

Is there a meaning behind your trial?  So many times we go through.   But the question is  how do we come out?  Do we  come out stronger?   Do we come out wiser?  Do we come out with more knowledge and more understanding?   Do we come out revived, refreshed, and renewed?   Do we come out with power and might?

It's not about the battle that you're in.   It's all about the victory that "has already been won".

What Badge Are You Wearing?

A badge is a distinguishing emblem or mark that is worn to signify a membership, employment, or achievement.   It reveals  who you are and what you believe and stand for.  So the question today is who or what are you standing for?   What badge are you wearing?   Are you wearing a badge of pride and self worth?   Or are you wearing a badge of humility and Jesus worth?

God has given us all authority....yet how we use that authority is left up to us.    How we stand and who we stand for......is a choice.   We choose to believe, we choose to take a stand, we choose to give, and we choose to live.  How we live and our "stance" is left up to us.    God has already pointed us in the direction we should go and He has already told us to choose life.....but He has placed the power and the authority to do so in us.    The choice is ours.

When I look at an officer (whether police, fire, sheriff, etc.), I immediately see a person of authority.   A person who has been put in charge.   God has given us a badge of authority.   He has given us a "charge".   Just as there are officers that misuse their authority........we also can misuse the authority given to us.

We must begin to take our "charge" seriously.    Charge means that you have been imposed a duty, responsibility, or obligation.    The badge that you have been given is the "blood".   It is not like the officers badge  only worn on the chest.   The blood is designed for  you to be clothed in it.   From head to toe.   Not only is it designed for you to be clothed in it.   It is also designed to be "applied" to situations and circumstances in your life as well.   This is so that when the enemy comes around, He immediately knows the authority, power, and influence that you have been endowed with.

The biggest problem we have is that we don't "apply" the blood.   The blood has to be applied.    Just as an officer has to wear his badge in order for him to enforce authority.   You have to "put on" and "put into action" the blood of Jesus in your life.

Apply the blood today.   Walk in the power and authority you have been given.   Do not nullify (counteract the force or effectiveness of) the blood of Jesus in your life.  Remember.....the blood was shed for all of us.

Are You Willing To Stand In The Winds, Earthquakes, and Fires Of Life?

Isn't it funny how God can do so much for you and yet  you still run and hide.   You still don't fully trust Him to be who He says He is in your life.    God used Elijah to do great miracles.   He called fire from heaven and it consumed not only the sacrifice but everything the sacrifice laid on and everything surrounding the sacrifice....even the dust.   Even after a move of God like this....the words of the enemy (in this case Jezebel) caused Elijah to run in fear for his life.

How many times has God moved in your life and you have seen Him do the miraculous?   Deliver you when you didn't have a way out.   Heal you when you were sick.   Sustain you when you had nothing.    YET.....you still run.   You still don't trust Him.    Although He has done so much  for YOU....you still struggle with your faith.

When Elijah ran from Jezebel, God sent for Him and asked Him why was He at that place?   The place of unbelief....of doubt....of not trusting.    Why had he journeyed back into the wilderness and into a cave after he had just set other people free?   Are we doing that?   Are we helping others to become free .... yet staying in bondage ourselves?   Better yet.....are we making excuses to God as to why we are there?   Why we are walking in "faith failure".....fear and lack of trust rather than walking in "fullness of faith".

When God called Elijah out, he told him to go and stand on the mount.   The mount is a high place....a place of elevation.   While standing there the wind, the earthquake, and the fire all came.   But God was not in any of that.    How many of us would stand in the midst of strong wind......would stand in the midst of an earthquake.....would stand in the midst of fire ..... knowing that God was not there?   How many of us would stand still in the place that God told us to go until we heard Him speak .... telling us what we are to do next?

Elijah went to the place God told him to go and He STOOD STILL until he heard the voice of the Lord.    He didn't run.....He didn't quit.....He stood.    That's what God wants from us.   He want us to stand.  He doesn't want us to run in the face of adversity.   He wants us to stand where He is placing us and to trust that He won't let anything harm us.    He wants our direction to come from Him.

The question now is  .... are you willing to stand against the enemies of life that are trying to dictate to you your situation and allow God to use you for His plan and purpose in the earth.    How you "react" and how you "respond" are always acts of  YOUR will.

No Longer Dormant....The Process Of Germination Has Begun!

The process of germination is the process in which a seed which has been laying dormant begins to come into existence.    When something is dormant, it is alive but not actively growing.

What in your life has been dormant?  Has been alive but not growing.    Not seeing or experiencing increase.    Is it your spiritual life?   We tend to always look at increase as financial.   But God wants us to look at our entire life to see if we are experiencing growth.   Growth is the process of develooping physically, mentally, and spiritually.   In order to develop properly, you need to develop in all areas.    What happens if your head grows and the rest of your body stays small.   Or if your body grows and your feet stay small.   You wouldn't be balanced.

The same with your spiritual life.   The Word is alive inside of you.   There are areas of  your life that have been in a "consequential dormancy" state.   Consequential dormancy is defined as a dormant state that occurs after experiencing adverse conditions.   We have had things come against our lives and into our environment that are not conducive with God's will, purpose and plan which has caused us to become dormant.   To stop growing.  But the conditions are now changing.   The atmosphere is now changing.   It's time to grow again.    To be rooted, grounded, and nourished.

The adverse conditions have nothing to do with your present state.    Where you are now and where God is taking you.   They don't play a part in your destiny.   The awesome thing is that God did not allow you to die in  your dormant state.   The process of growth was just slowed down until the conditions......the atmosphere.....the environment became conducive to God's will, purpose, and plan for your life.

Know that domancy is now over and your process of germination has began.......

When will we begin to take on a cause greater than ourselves?

When will we begin to take on a cause greater than ourselves?   Greater than our will, our plan, our emotions.   Greater than Our Lives.    Our God is greater.   Greater than we can ever perceive.   He wants to accomplish great things in the earth and He wants to use you to do it.    Greatness is not what we can do.   Greatness is who we are when we allow God to have precedence in our lives.   Put on your armor today....put on Jesus   Be clothed with Him (His plan, His purpose, His will) and be kept by Him.    As you put on Jesus..............."He" can then accomplish great things in the earth.

***2nd Post For Today....Please Be Sure To Read The Post Below .... "It's Time To Remove The Disguise"

It's Time To Remove The Disguise.....

It's time to remove the disguise.  Those things that you do or put on in order to prevent someone from recognizing who you really are or what you really believe.    We have to understand that God sees all and knows all.   He see beyond the fronts.   The parades or the presentations.   He sees the heart of a man.

We have to get to the place where nothing else matters but God's perception of who we are and what we desire.    It doesn't matter what Mary, Larry, or Sue thinks because our salvation is in God.   Our walk is in God.   Our pretense.....our attempt to make something appear to be true that is not is really futile.   It is pointless because God sees the truth.   He sees and knows where or what the root of every living thing is planted in.    It is either rooted in him or in the things of the world.

It's time to remove the mask.   Not so you that God can see who you are....and not so others can see who you are.....but so that you can see who you are.

Get to a place where you live your life on a "what you see is what you get basis".   Where you are the same no matter what environment you are in.       Where you change not.   You were not called or created to be a chameleon (changing and inconsistent).    You were not called to deceive (to give a false impression or to deceive).   You were called to be a light and reflection of God.

The thing about the light of God is that it shines through and reveals everything else.   Which means.....the mask.....the disguise serves no purpose.

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
