Broken.....So That Others Can See The God In You....

What kind of vessel do you think God wants to use?   We tend to think that He wants to use perfect vessels.   Those that can quote the right scripture or give the best sermon (which in some cases sounds like the best speech).   We think that God is looking for someone that has it all together.   Whereas, God is actually looking for those that are broken.

Brokenness....One definition of brokenness is  "subdued completely; humbled".   To be broken....to be in pieces.  When a horse is trained, he is also said to be broken.   Brokenness is not necessarily a bad thing.

I was listening to someone yesterday on a video and she was talking about brokenness.   She said that when we are broken.....that is when the God in us can be seen.    That is when the light that is in us can be seen on the outside.

It is when we have needs and desires in our lives that people tend to see our faith the most.   When we need to be healed....that is we pray more.   When we have a financial need....that is when we seek God more.   When God moves on our behalf.....that is when we testify more.   All of this is part of the breaking process.
God ultimately wants us to a place where we are completely broken.   Where people can look and see that we live a life a faith and trust in Him.    A place of humility and awareness of who He is and what He has done for our lives.

Be broken today....so that others can see the God in you.    Pray whether you have a need or not.   Believe whether you have a need or not.   Sometimes you may have to believe for others.   Trust whether you can see God moving or not.    Your brokenness is not for you.   It is so that others can see the God in you.

Trust and believe and God will do.......
