John 3:16 says: "For God SO loved....".
He SO loved! Have you ever SO loved! To SO love is to deeply, intimately love, till all I can do is tell it and show it in the most extreme way just how vast this love is. It cannot be contained or measured! Have you ever just had a moment when the love that you feel for God our Father just overwhelms you. You can feel it throughout your entire being. Your eyes well up with tears, your body feels electric, and you just want to open your mouth and, as loud as you can, you want to yell.....I LOVE YOU GOD; I LOVE YOU JESUS!
When is the last time that you could literally feel this. Not just saying it nonchalantly because it is what we are accustomed to. But really feeling it and meaning it from the depths of your soul! This is the love that draws God to us and us to God. A child knows that a parent loves them because every chance that parent gets, he/she finds a way to express it. How do you express your love to your child, to your spouse, to loved ones.... How much more explosive and overflowing should our love be for our Father.
Sometimes, words just can't do the job like we want them to. Stop. Take a moment to meditate on the word Love. Then, go further and focus in on the love that you have for God. See if it does not overwhelm you like a tidal wave. Can you say: I LOVE YOU LORD MORE THAN ANYTHING and mean it wholeheartedly?
