Letting God Be God.... Fasten and Secure Yourself In Him and His Word Today....

Are you even willing to let God be God?   Or do you have to have control?    How dangerous is it try to control your own life?   How chaotic would it be if we had no traffic lights or stop signs?   How many people would survive?   It's the same with life.   How could we survive if God did not give us wisdom and direction.   If He didn't point out areas where we need to slow down and make a mid-course correction.   How wreckless would our lives be?

In learning to drive, it is important that you read the manual in order to know the rules that may not be obvious on a day to day basis.   Even though it is not obvious....you may encounter a time when it is needed.   That's how life is.   Some things in life are not experienced on a daily basis but there may be times when you experience sickness or you experience lack.   It  is important that you know what to do and what to say during those times.

It's time to gird yourself with the word.   Gird means to fasten or secure with a belt or a band.   It means to surround.    God wants us to surround ourselves with His word.   He wants us to fasten and secure ourselves with what He has done and what He has said He will do in our lives.    "Gird Up"  ..... surround, secure, and fasten yourself in Him and His word today.
