Surrendering Pre-Conceived Notions and Pre-Ordained Thoughts To God, His Word, and His Way Of Doing Things.....

Where is your trust?   Are you trusting in what you can do in and for yourself?   Or are you trusting what God and His word has said?    If He said that He will never leave you nor forsake you......are you trusting that you are not alone?    If He said that His peace He leaves with you and His peace He gives to you .... are you walking in a state of mind where God's peace prevails?  

What is it that you want from God?   Do you want more stuff or is your "hearts" desire to have a deeper relationship with Him?    God wants you to get to know Him more.   He wants you to deepen your relationship with Him.    To go further than ankle deep.   He wants you to step out into the water of His word and to submerge and become consumed with who He is.    What or who is it that is holding you back?   That is keeping you from going all the way with God?   Is it simple fear?   Fear simply says that you don't believe God?   God says if you believe me then you will do as I say.    There is no in between when it comes to fear and faith.    Either you believe God or you don't.    Either you trust God or you don't.   Fear causes you to reside at the point of don't.   Where you don't believe and you don't trust God to do what He said.  Faith says God cannot fail......

Make it a point to cross the threshold today.   The threshold of total trust.    The place that says .... yet will I trust you Lord.   The place where your total love, your total trust and your total commitment are solely on God and His word.     The place that requires you to surrender all.   To surrender your preconceived notions and preordained thoughts to God, His word, and His way of doing things.

Understand today that everything that we want may not necessarily be in-line with what God wants for our lives.    Make up your mind today to surrender your wants and your desires for what He wants and desires for your life.   Make up in your mind today that fear is no longer an option.   That you are moving from the place that holds you captive to the place of knowing that God will do whatever needs to be done....the place of faith.    The place of trust.   The place that says that you know that God's love for you overrides everything else in your life.    Trust Him today.   Believe His word today.    Know who you are in Him  and your importance to Him today.      Make today the day that you move from fear to total trust in God and His word for your life.
