At What Point Do You Compromise?

At what point do you compromise?   At what point do you yield?   At what point do you just agree?   With the situation, with the circumstance, with the life or the lifestyle?

We start off strong.   We say we trust God.   We say we believe God.   But things happen ..... they happen unexpectedly.   They don't work out the way we thought or the way we planned.    What do you do at that point?   Do you concede?   Do you give up?   Or do you trust God?   His word and what He has said.

God said that He is not a man that He should lie ..... nor the son of man that He should repent.   That means that God NEVER has to take back what He said.    He said to let Him be TRUTH and everything else be a lie.   So if He is truth......if He is not a man.......if He does not lie.........then why do you give up?   Why do you experience "faith failure"?

Could it be that your "faith" is not rooted in the "truth"?   The truth is God.   The truth is what God has said.   When everything that has grown up around us is gone......the only thing left is the "roots".   The roots is what will determine what everything else was grounded in.   It will determine what you truly believe.    It will determine whether you will stand on the "truth" or whether you will yield and surrender to compromise.

Understand that there is a difference.   There is a difference in what God is saying versus what the world says.   There is a difference in how God does a thing versus how the world does it.   There are distinct differences.   If you were called to be the same then there would be no need for salvation.   There was be no need to trust. There would be no need to take a stand and to believe that God is true.

Who you are and what God desires you to be is all based on who He is.   Your walk, your talk, your difference ..... is because He is different.   You are to resemble Him.   Your belief and your faith is based on the truth that "He Is".    Your lifestyle should be rooted in Him.

Compromise is always a result of selfish actions.   What you want or how you want others to see you.   It is never based on who God is and what He has said.    You have to resolve today that Jesus is your example.   When you make choices......when you make decisions.....when you talk.....your actions......should always resemble what Jesus would do.    So when you feel like lying.....when you feel like giving up......when you feel like just agreeing to take the pressure off.......ask yourself......does it resemble what Jesus would do?   Does the root of your decision go back to who God is and what God has said?

Excellent message as always-Either we believe HIM or we don't. Either we trust HIM or we don't. It's so hard at times, but I choose to stay on the LORD'S side!!!

Amen....you are right. It is hard at times especially when it looks like things are not changing.....but we have to trust Him through it all.

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
