Are you affecting them in a way that leads them closer to the Lord? Or is the affect that you have one that solidifies a life or lifestyle outside of the will, purpose and plan of God. You are making an impact ..... whether it be good or bad. Everything that we do solidifies what we believe ....... and because people trust us ..... there are those who will subconsciously line up there belief system based on what they see you do and hear you say.
You have an opportunity today. An opportunity to help. An opportunity to be a lamp. A lamp is a vessel that generates light. It is also defined as a vessel containing oil. Understand your design. You are designed to be filled with oil and to generate light. Oil is indicative of the anointing. Light is who God is. You carry within you the anointing of God and the light of God radiates from you.
However, we must be careful. We have to make sure our lamp does not go out. That we don't become empty and void. That we don't allow the pressures of this world to cover up the "wick" within us. The wick is that which draws up the anointing and causes us to burn for God. To have a passion and a pursuit for Him. When the pressures of life come....we have to begin to deal with them before they come in. We have to be settled on what we believe and what we know God will do. We cannot allow the things on the outside to build up on the inside. Your design....the way that God created you to be......is to be filled with Him.....not the cares of the world. To know Him and trust what you know.
God has granted you a new day......will you make an impact and burn for Him?

I try to be a light even though sometimes I just want to vent and give "a piece of my mind" when people get on my last nerve and act ignorant. I am constantly aware of the GOD in me and I know that GOD wouldn't like it...I just say Jesus... Jesus...Jesus...help me Lord!!! Then again I am reminded when I am on the phone ordering something. At the end of the conversation, I will say BE Blessed or have a Blessed day and the associates will be pleasantly surprised. I can hear it in their voices. When they respond it is as if they now have a smile on their faces and in their voices...so we can have an impact on people whether we know it or not. Let's hope the impact is for the Glory of the Lord!!!
I know....it's not always easy to when people ...."be who they are". But I thank God for His goodness, His grace, His favor, and His word that He put on the inside of us .... to show people His love and His kindness. And it's always good to see when God changes someones day.
