Can You Really Take A Stand For What You Believe?

So often we say we believe one thing but when it comes to it.....when the test is really there....it shows that we really don't believe what we said.   Maybe it's that we want to believe.   Or maybe even that we think we believe.   But the result is always made manifest in our actions.......in our response......

It's the same with those who say they love you.   Who claim they have your back.    Their love.....or should I say the extent of their love.....is revealed when they have to give a response.    When they have to back you up and be your support.    It is usually at those points that  you understand that true love.....ultimate support.....can only come from God.

It's when the people you thought.....the people you believe in......fail to be and to do "what you thought".    When their response goes against what you thought to be true.   When the support system that "you thought" you had becomes weak.   It's usually at that point that we turn to God.

We have to get to a place where we stay focused on God in every area.   He is the only one who will always give you a "love response".   A response that supports and gives.    A response that is based on His love for you and nothing else.

After you understand and know the "response of God".......you have to become the "God response" for someone else.   A person that people can trust.   A person that people can believe in.   A person who doesn't change daily but one who stands on what they believe.  A person living a life that lines up with who God is.   Remember.....God is love.....so your reflection should always be love.   The thing that people see should always be the "love of God".

Let your response line up with your belief.   Let it be who God is.....Let it be "love".
