What Is It That You Are Clinging To?

To cling.....
To hold tightly or tenaciously to.....
To adhere....
To have a strong emotional attachment to.....

What is it that you are clinging to?   Are you clinging to God?   Are you holding on tightly to His promises and His word?  Or is it something else?  Or someone else?

It's time to evaluate.    To evaluate means to estimate the nature, quality, ability, extent, or significance of a thing. Have you evaluated the things in your life?   The things that you give time to.   The people that you spend time with.   Have you taken the time to look at the nature of the things around you?   Where they are coming from?   There origin......   Everything has an origin.   A place where it originated.

Are the things in your life originated based on God's plans or your thoughts.   Based on God's word or your intent.    What is your intent?   What is the thing that you are determined to do?  So many times we just let things "be".   We allow things to attach themselves to us.....not considering there origin and what they bring with them.

It's time to "consider"......take into account and think carefully about.....everything that has attached itself to our lives.   It's time to cut off all the dead things.   The things that are not conducive to the plan that God has for our lives.

The one thing that we must cling to....that is necessary to our lives.....is God.   His plan.....His word.....His way.     Get to know the nature of God.....for He is "origin"......He is where everything else comes from and exists.    Get to know the one who "Is".     For in knowing Him.....you can truly know who you "are".
