Does your life .... your lifestyle .... acknowledge God or go against who He is?
When you look at the things you do and the things you say.....do they coincide with who God is? Do they agree? Is your life in agreement with God? With His word.....with His way.
We say we serve God.....but if you were on the outside looking in.....could you see a difference in you and the world. Are your words different? Do you live by faith.....and not just works (those things that you say you do for God)?
The thing about works is that it is easy to try to give yourself the glory. It's easy to say that you did this or you did that. God is not looking at what you did. He wants to know that you trust Him. That you believe Him. That you are willing to sacrifice yourself for Him. Your will and your way. Jesus died for you. Now it's about dying to yourself for Him. It's an exchange.
He exchanged His life for yours....now it's up to you to complete the exchange....by exchanging your life for His. Are you willing to do what it takes to complete the process?
Are you willing to deny your flesh.....as Jesus denied His? To lay down your life.....as Jesus laid down His? To speak words of truth and life.....as Jesus did? To lean not to your own understanding.....as Jesus trusted God and what He said? To die to yourself.....as Jesus did? All in order to live.......to enter into eternal life....with Him.
The choice is yours....and it all reveals whether or not you "acknowledge" or "deny" who God is. Your decisions give answers to your family, to your friends, and to those around you who question whether or not God is really "real"......and the thing is.....many of them will make decisions based on what they see you do.
