Don't Allow Your Belief To Stop At What Appears To Be......

John chapter 11 talks about Lazarus being sick and how Jesus waited for 2 days before going to see about him.   When Jesus arrived there was agreement in the place that said "if Jesus would have been there.....Lazarus would not have died".    There was agreement that death could not take place in the presence of God.   However, they didn't realize that the presence of God could take what was dead and cause it to become alive again.

A lot of times we look at situations in our lives as dead.   We don't see.....we can't see the hope inside of the situation.   However, we need to understand that not only can the presence of God keep death from coming....it can also take what appears to be dead and make it become alive again.

God wants us to trust Him.   He wants us to believe in Him and the power that comes with knowing Him.   We have to understand that death has "no" hold on God and if God lives on the inside of us.....it has no hold on us.   God says that He cares for us.   Care means you supply the provision for what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance and protection of someone or something.  That is what God does for us.   We are maintained through and by Him.    In other words we are kept and carried through and by Him and His word.

To walk in faith means you see beyond what appears to be.   We have to stop looking at the appearance of a thing and begin to look at God in His totality.  When you look at the totality of God.....you see His omnipotence, you see His goodness, you see His grace.   You see Him for who He is.   When your focus is on Him.....you stop looking at your situation and move to a place of trusting Him to work out the situation for your good.

Understand that every situation that you go through is ultimately to glorify God.    It is designed for you to step into a place of trust and rest.   A place that says that God is God and that you trust Him to work it out.   You rest in the knowledge of who He is and what He has already done.    Remember.........in order to rest in the knowledge of who He is.......you have to get to know Him.

Trust God today.   Don't allow your belief to stop at the point of what appears to be.   Believe in the word that says that God is who He says He is..........and that He watches over His word to perform it in your life.

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
